My partner and I have just had a wonderful two nights at the Seaview Hotel. In sumary, a wonderful boutique hotel, with lovely and very comfortable accommodation, an excellent restaurant and bar and a superb location near the sea. We were made to feel very welcome by the lovely team that worked there. Special mention to Brenda for serving our breakfast on both mornings with a huge smile and bags of personality!! We hope to come back soon. Thank you team Seaview!

Just back from an overnight stay at the Seaview. Room was wonderful, very comfy and with great views. Food very good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Always a sign of a great full English breakfast when black pudding is included! Decor really interesting.

One-night stay which was excellent. Room comfortable, clean and very well laid out and furnished. Bathroom modern, clean and also very good. Ground floor has a guest lounge, the main restaurant, a bistro restaurant (where breakfast is served) and a tap room bar - all very pleasant. Food to a very high standard, service very friendly and overall, it was far ahead of what we could have expected.

We stayed here as a family for 5 nights and had a wonderful time. The rooms were really lovely with sea views - clean, spacious, comfy beds, and well-equipped. We all felt it should be more than 3* as was so lovely. There was a spacious lounge and lovely bar. The restaurants were fantastic and the breakfasts were incredible. Car parking was a bit of a squeeze but managed it - those in larger cars struggled. The top floor 2 rooms (16&15) were perfect, the middle floor room (2) was nice but suffered a bit from the smell of the kitchen & cigarettes from staff smoking below the bathroom window. Staff generally were beyond kind and helpful, nothing was too much for them - the reception team were very accommodating of our questions and provided extra soft pillows on request which we were so grateful for. In particular Philippa at breakfast and Rocio behind the bar were utterly divine. The vibe of this hotel was so lovely, you could not beat it. Highly recommended.

We were visiting the Isle of Wight again, and thought we should explore Seaview. Parking was easy, being November, and having walked along the foreshore and walked within the village it was about lunchtime. We entered the hotel and were immediately made welcome by Indiana who showed us around. We thoroughly enjoyed our light lunch and left with very favourable impressions and will certainly return. Well done Indiana.

We had a 5 day stay. The hotel has customer service that the UK once had years ago. Simply outstanding. The food amd presentation out of this world. The room very comfortable with a super seaview. Mark (the GM) and his team can't do enough to ensure a pleasant stay. We are certainly returning in 2025. Thanks again for such warmth and friendliness. The black pudding guys!

Another lovely visit to this hotel with my wife and ageed aunt, who lives locally in St Helens. The pork tenderloin was delicious as was the most perfect pie my wife had had in years. Service was a little out of season, but the ambiance and wine were not. Thank you.

We had a fabulous meal at this hotel in the bar area. The pies were excellent and the liver wasxcooked pink and perfectly. All the food is genuinely home made and delicious. Recommend the Queen of Puddings with the fruity chef made pastille and the cherry almond bakewell tart with white chocolate ice cream too. A special mention to Gabby, who served us brilliantly throughout the entire evening with a smile and her excellent knowledge of the food and drinks. We will definitely be going back.

Just there for an evening meal with friends. 2 others staying in the hotel. Not ideal with the lift breaking down and our friend being almost entirely reliant on a scooter. Also the short-notice change of menu for the change of month when none of us are local. I personally got rather confused and forgot what I'd ordered. Never mind - the food was great when it arrived and the staff were great
