My husband and I have just returned home from this fabulous hotel. We arrived in the middle of the night and shown to our room #33 (with private plunge pool) - all seemed fabulous but we could hear the traffic on the nearby road. We spoke to Marta the following morning and were given the choice of 3x rooms so we chose #1 which had a huge balcony with a table, chairs and sun loungers (but sadly no plunge pool but the main pool was well maintained and peaceful). Overall a great holiday (our second in Santorini)... all staff were incredibly helpful and courteous.

Beautiful hotel. Stunning views from our room No.3. Amazing sunsets. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Super clean place. Comfortable beds. Good breakfast. Very clean pool. No bar after 4pm or food, but don't be put off, the local bars and restaurants in Akrotiri are great, only a short walk from the hotel.

We can not recommend it enough. Such a beautiful setting. Very friendly staff. Extremely clean. The views are stunning. Great breakfast. Very comfortable bed. Maid service is excellent. The pool area has an amazing view over the sea and mountains. Atatiri is walkable, some great bars and restaurants. Local bus service is very cheap and a great way to see this stunning island. Thank you Santorini for an amazing holiday.

I had a horrible experience with this hotel . They have no understanding, I had to cancel my reservation 30 days in advance. But they changed we full amount. I said ok , I will still stay there , even I can’t afford it right now due to financial hardship. And I reached out to them again to reclaim the reservation and use the amount their charged me already towards the new reservation. They still said no . This is unbelievable. I really am in shock how they are doing their business.

This is the first critical hotel review of my life. Santorini View was the worst hotel on our whole trip. Rusty and brownish stained tables and chairs on the terraces as well as pealing wall paint in the pool area did not look like the pretty pictures at all. The room was rather small and the bed was next to the wall and only accessible from one side. Then came the night and there were several ants in my bed crawling over me as well as on the floor. The next morning the local hotel manager offered us an ‘upgrade’ with a whirlpool, but the room was smelly and next to the noisy street. We did not stay for the intended four following nights and moved to another hotel. Afterwards the general manager charged us an additional night as a ‘penalty’ and said that the ants were our fault as we attracted them with food. This was obviously not true as we put the little amount of sealed food directly in the fridge and did not eat or drink in the room or on the terrace.

If you want that magic view of Santorini (the view of the volcanic island, the Thira island and the rest of Santorini island - including the towns Fira and Oia), without paying too much and the crowds, this is the perfect location. They offered us a room with jacuzzi, free of extra charge that had an amazing view and privacy. The emploees are very kind and will help you with anything you need - informations, trips, car rental, transportation to/from the airport or to the restaurant. The room was very clean, the cleanig service was daily. Breakfast is very good and has a lot of variaty of food. The pool is big enough, good for swimmers (the depth of most of it is between 1,70 and 2,30m) and there are enough sunbeds to get a tan. From the pool area you have an amazing view.

We spent a week here four our 16th anniversary, what a pleasure it was ,breathtaking beautiful views it was heaven . Reception managers Vasilis and Martha were perfect , happy to help us with anything , always with smiles , like close friends . The break fast staff and bar man Alexis who wrote for best places to eat was so kind to help us out , and above all the cleaning lady’s that kept this beautiful hotel clean , always on the go especially with the heat being so hot , always had great manners and genuine smiles and always where lovely to us. Beautiful village down the road about 10 minutes walk where the restaurants are brilliant and food was spectacular. Loved every minute of this dream hotel , truly unique well done Santorini view and staff for the best week of our life’s xxx Vasilis we will see you again my friend x and recommend to our friends and family

This hotel has absolutely stunning views, it’s really beautiful. The room we had was really clean and had everything we needed. Tea and coffee available in the room. There was also a mini fridge and safe. We stayed in room 27 and we were lucky enough to have two balconies. One, with table and chairs and the other had two sun-beds. Breakfast had a good choice of food, again the eating area had gorgeous sea views. Breakfast is the only food that is available here. There is no restaurant to eat at other times, other than breakfast. There is a bar, which is open until 4pm. I believe the only snacks available is a bowl of crisps, which you can order with drinks. This was the only real downside of the hotel because we were told that we could not eat or drink items bought from elsewhere, in the public areas of the hotel, such as the pool area. You can understand this if food was available throughout the day but it isn’t. The reception staff were lovely and always ready to help with any enquiries. The housekeeping staff visited daily and bedclothes were changed every three days. Akrotiri is a lovely quiet village, with a couple of shops which stocked a wide range of supplies. There is a nice variety of restaurants, all of which served gorgeous traditional Greek dishes. There was also a pharmacy, car rentals and a couple of souvenir shops. Would I go back again? Yes I would. Would I stay at Santorini View again? Absolutely!
