I spent a great 3 days at Casa Granda, Santiago De Cuba. The hotel is right smack dab in the center of the action, with several great live music venues just blocks away. The view from the rooftop restaurant is spectacular. Complimentary breakfast was solid, with omelettes and fresh fruit juice. A special thank you to Emilio at reception for helping me with a slightly late checkout on my final day, even though the hotel was at capacity. Great value at this hotel.

It is always nice to return to the place, "where everybody is your friend". That's how I feel about Casa Granda. This traditional hotel has comfortable rooms, cafeteria/bar on the terrace overlooking busy city plaza and a roof-garden bar. But above all this hotel has great staff of all levels that aim at accommodating the guests. Despite many deficiencies in the country they manage to secure a menu of several quite tasty dishes at reasonable prices. Greetings to all.

Thank you, the restaurant (breakfast) staff on the 5th floor: the chef Emilio, bartenders Kevin, Milagros, Carlos, Aleksander and Yariza - for your prompt, attentive and friendly service.The front desk staff are the face of the hotel and the teams of receptionists Dailin and Emilio always ready to assist and their service was exceptional! The server Eylen was amazing, always smiling and very profesional. The room had a disgusting smelling, the bathroom needs to be updated, and needs a deep cleaning. Food as everywhere, nothing special, no variety. Breakfast very poor. The Location is wonderful.

Great location, elegant historical architecture, awesome common spaces (both rooftop bar and terrace), less than average restaurant, poor service (reception, bar). I'm sure it suffered from the covid situation, but depending on tourists I expected more. much more!

Such a nice hotel with good location with terrible staff! How can staff be so rude, unpolite and totally lack everything about service. So dull attitude, The food had no taste at all. In the roofbar everything was served in plastic glasses.

I stayed at this hotel last month for 5 days, and it was awful. Personnel very angry and bad attitude. I asked for WiFi around 10pm at the Lobby and the response was: I can't help you now, and I'm not having this discussion. Very unprofessional. The only good this is the housekeeping lady was lovely and amazing! She really make up all the bad, and also a waitress in the top roof garden, she was lovely and sweet. Everyone else was just not happy like angry or mad. The location is amazing, since it is in the heart of the city of Santiago, and everything is close, spectacular views.
