Ulasan Days Inn by Wyndham Santa Monica

The hotel had a power outage early in the morning. We waited for a long time but it was not repaired. We had to check out early. We negotiated with the front desk, but they did not give us any compensation. It seemed that power outages were commonplace. Not recommended

Standard inn chain, all are similar, this one is closer to Santa Monica Beach. The price is moderate for this location, but the breakfast is very simple, no eggs or hot food, you can only make your own cereal.

It's more than 10 minutes' drive from Santa Monica Beach. The environment is OK, the service is good, and there is a dedicated parking lot

I stayed in a room with a loop balcony. All the receptionists were very polite and had lovely smiles. There is no breakfast, but you can eat light snacks (coffee and baked goods) freely in the morning. The snacks are too sweet for Japanese people, but I'm grateful that they are free. I didn't know how to use the coffee machine in the room at first, so I asked the receptionist, but they kindly explained it to me.

It looks like it's close to the beach but it's not, because there the streets are very big. Walking is about 45 min. until reaching the beach of Sta. monica The staff very friendly. We arrived before check-in time and they let us keep our bags there (they don't have a specific room and leave them in the dining room). The big room Two double beds and a very spacious toilet with bathtub. We had a visit from a cockroach but the rest, fine. Net. In the room there is a fridge, microwave, alarm clock... and a Bible, in case you need it 😁

I think it's a good location if you have a car. You can also go to the beach by bus. Buses in this area were relatively safe. The rooms on the 4th floor have balconies, so we recommend staying in a room with a balcony. I think it's a good idea to bring your own hair dryer as the wind is weak.

The room is quite large and the supplies are very clean. There are soaps and shampoos in the room. Free hot coffee, iced apple juice, orange juice, bread, small cakes, biscuits, fresh fruits, etc. are available at the front desk starting from 7 am.

It's a bit far from the beach. Uber starts at 10 dollars. It's a relatively luxurious hotel in Daysinn. There's a boy with braids at the front desk. The service is good. The other waiters are just average.
