Hotel Gletscherblick

Hotel Gletscherblick St Anton is simply the best ski hotel I have ever been in and I can't recommend it highly enough, to skiers and non-skiiers alike. An absolute gem for sheer relaxation! This family-run hotel offers beautiful rooms, ranging from small twins to generous suites. It has a good-sized pool with built-in jacuzzi and very extensive tranquil spa facilities (all of which are free of charge to guests), including various types of sauna, salt and herbal steam rooms, and wonderful relaxation areas where you can sip teas in your bathrobe or curl up under a cosy blanket for a nap. It operates on a half-board basis with excellent breakfasts and 5-course gourmet dinners included in the price (and has an excellent wine cellar). On top of that, every afternoon the chefs provide tasty treats like cake, cheese/meat plates for anyone feeling a bit peckish after coming in from sking/walking. For children who'd prefer something simpler they are more than happy to prepare a burger, schnitzel or pizza. And staff throughout the hotel could not be more attentive. For skiing, the local ski bus picks you up outside the hotel and drops you to the Nasserein gondola (5 mins away), where the hotel provides free heated lockers for your boots and skis. If you are flying from overseas, a relaxing and easy way to travel to the hotel is simply fly to Zurich and take the train to St Anton am Arlberg, just down the road (the hotel concierge will come pick you up). Great alternative to the traffic and bus transfers on twisty mountain roads in the French Alps. Great place to go with people who are skiing but you're NOT. Some nice 10km mountain walks to do during the day or stroll down to St Anton - or just relax wih a book in the pool/spa.

For years we went to France to ski. But the last decades we have been discovering Austria. That's how we arrived in Sankt Anton. One of the best ski areas of Austria. For the past 5 years we have stayed in Hotel Gletscherblick in St Jakob. It is a fantastic and beautiful Hotel. The sauna and spa in the hotel are top. The food, the wines and the enthusiasm of the crew and the family are unforgettable. Yes it's a real family hotel and the Österreichische Gemütlichkeit, we like it. But be aware, after a week you will need a few days to recover ;-)

Having not been skiing in many years and my first time to St. Anton, I can honestly say that the hospitality and service at Hotel Gletscherblick, has spoilt us for wanting to go anywhere else. There were 4 of us. As friends with 2 young teens with us, it can be a difficult balance to get right. We all equally enjoyed our time immensely. The quality of the food, the welcome, service and attention to detail are an example to the hospitality business of how it should be done. The chef and the team in the kitchen also deserve a special mention. Each course, on every menu exuded passion and was simply delicious. A special thanks to Milka, Sandra and all the team and family. We will definitely be back and we wish you continued success.

I was very privileged to have been treated to 5 nights. The staff were a delight and the food is truly amazing from Breakfast to dinner. We never made the afternoon tea, due to skiing. Everything in the hotel was spotless with a really homely ambiance.

We stayed for 5 nights at the hotel. I will start with the food,our stay was half bord basis. The food was amazing! the variations in breakfast (all you can imagin++) I was just sorry I was not able to eat that much....the 5 corse dinner with farm to table vegtables ,great wine and beautifully presented-It was like we were having Michllen star dinner every night. As for the service-the staff at the dining room are really friendly. Sandra -the owner was so helpfullwith all we requested-transfers,a place for yoga and just so nice and heartwarming. The spa -with so many Saunas was a great way to finish a days ski. Our room was new ,beautiful with great shower The ski bus stops few steps from the hotel. All in all,a perfect place to stay.

We have been afreind vaction ski and the hotel is excellent THE food is tasty also breakfast and dinner The soop is one of the best soop i have ever taste there is also asmall meal at afternoon and is great while you r getting back from ski The service of the crew is excellant and speicialy ANGIE in the reception that help us to find bar and clubs in the evening the rooms are clean and big there is abus station near the hotel 50 meters that bring to the gondola and back the facilities in the hotel was great the pool and the spa

I recently stayed at Hotel Gletscherblick and would highly recommend it. The Family and whole staff team were fantastic hosts and very attentive. Hotel Gletscherblick has some great facilities with the Alpin Spa and Alpin Vital. The food was also superb, great flavours and very well presented. It's a nice 20-30 mins walk to the main street in St Anton and great location for hiking and biking. I'll certainly be back.

I’ve been around the hotels in the alps especially for skiing for the last 40 years as a guide and ski trip organizer. You won’t find a better place. SUPER friendly and everything is great. Food and great welcome from this wonderful family. Can’t wait for next winter.
