Nature & Relax House 37

I initially found this accommodation with same name but under a different number 54 the one l received in is 37. When l found and booked 54 they advertised it as shared bathroom only and a booking of a room with a kitchenette. I did not notice they had changed the number of my booking when l received confirmation as it had the title and street name. When l arrived it was a room with a great view and a desk but shared everything so beware. You must check the confirmation as this said shared kitchen, l don't know if l could have backed out after receiving a confirmation but it is very deceptive and this company has a number of properties with a similar name.

This accomodation is in a location with a lovely view, our bed was comfy but that is where the positives end. No TV, no aircon, kettle cord doesn't reach power point - had to sit kettle on chair, desk around the wrong way, no milk, no spoon, no bar fridge, sheets don't fit bed, snot in the shower,filth behind sink, toilet seat slides, toilet door all scratched, exhaust fan doesn't work and filthy, carpet filthy, curtains falling down, verandah with smoke butts blowing around, Windows filthy, communal kitchen filthy, dish washer broken, no sound proofing...$240 per night, DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

Hi, the owner called us and advised that the property we booked wasn't available after he initially confirmed it. We were placed in an unknown accommodation not listed on any website called La Vie Luxury bay view. It was rated 2.8 stars due to mould, paper thin walls and water damage dating back to 2022. I addressed this with the owner directly who only used phone as communication and assured me this had all been addressed. we've checked out after we found black mould which was giving me and my fiance headaches and I had like 3 asthma attacks last night. Behind the sinks were dirty, pillow had smoke burns, side of the bed had semen looking stains and paper thin walls which had marks on them. It's uninhabitable and on the booking website didn't advise it was a hostel which was very misleading.

Beautiful accommodation overlooking Hobart, way up high at Sandy Bay. Under floor heating, electric blankets, big kitchen/dining/lounge area (communal). Big comfy bed, tea/coffee making facilities in room. Need to be prepared to take your food/meals with you. There are no shops close by if you don’t have a car. The accommodation is very high up a steep winding road, wouldn’t attempt to walk up or down.

Room was very clean and modern however bed was very hard. The ensuite in room did not have a shower which was shared. The shower was very clean and modern. No TV in room or bedside tables. Quite reasonably priced but would not stay there again.

Very small room with a beautiful view if you climbed onto the bed. No bedside tables but an enormous desk with large chair. 1 coffee, 1 tea, 2 sugars but no spoons and no milk. Very noisy with toilet opposite room and the laundry as well with a dryer going till 11 PM. Pictures shown must be from other rooms as ours was certainly not like that. We paid $139.00 but a backpackers would have been better. Would not recommend.

Very unhappy with our stay here. No TV, DIRTY BED SHEET. Very thin blankets and crap heating as it didn’t want the room up at all. I have asked for a part refund but the owner and person in charge are being very difficult saying that the owner isn’t answering his calls and that he can’t do anything until the owner answers him. I am not one happy customer.

Everything is very clean and the view is absolutely stunning. We stayed here two nights as we had been very exhausted from our trip. The rooms are definitely not soundproof. We were woken at 6am both mornings from people banging around in the kitchen and kids screaming. In the evening people are up and making noise till about midnight. Quiet time says between 9pm and 9am. Kitchen doesnt have much cutlery so make sure to bring your own.
