Ulasan Red Roof Inn Salem

We knew were were staying at a motel and didn't expect 4 stars but yikes. Wore sandals in shower. Room was filthy. It felt very murdery. Brought up my own blanket. That being said girl at front desk was very sweet and helpful.

Desk staff was nice. Got to my room and it was gross, hair on 2 if the 4 pillows and hair on the toilet. Went to the front desk and the staff changed my room. Got to my new room and it looked clean. Checked the sheets and everything was ok. Went out for a few hours and came back. Turned the bed down and noticed something by the corner if the bed and i kicked something on the floor. Ummmmm well they didnt clean the room well because someones cover up bottle was on the floor just under the bed and a pipe of some sort. Its 1am and im so uncomfortable. I took video and photos.

I'm making this comment because I think people should know where they can stay. My trip was on a family basis. One woman and two children 5 and 2 years old. We traveled almost 9 hours the place is well located. Cleaning is once a week. You don't change towels unless you ask them. My bathroom was covered up. Called to help and nobody was. Luckily this happened the night before we left the hotel we had for 4/5 nights it was for the day of the use presidents. Most important is that when you book in the non-smoking you will always see people smoking, it is that the cigarette plague will be serk. My experience was bad for that part. And I don't recommend it.

Hotel was dirty and room had musty smell. Trash not even picked up off floor from previous guests

Phone didn't work and toilet seat was broken I informed front desk but nothing was done there were ants in bathroom and toilet paper fell apart as u tried to use it

Old, needs to be updated. No water pressure. Took half hour for water to even heat up in shower. Very loud fan in bathroom. Would honestly like a refund. Not worth the money. Would have rather stayed in my car for free

As a single female traveling alone, I felt very safe staying here alone. Never once had any concerns for my safety. Beds were comfortable and staff was extremely friendly. Although rooms are outdated, housekeeping does a great job keeping them clean.

I booked this trip home for my daughter & family for the holidays. It was clean, smoke free & the front desk worker was awesome! They arrived 6hrs later than planned and he said it would be no problem for a middle of the night check in.

Front desk was rude. You pay for a room that doesn’t really have anything on the TV? You gotta pay for it all?? Bathroom was ridiculously small and the sink was outside of the bathroom, so all the germs on that doorknob… oh boy. Tub was supposed to be white but evidentally hasn’t been cleaned very well with the brown and yellow streaks all in it.

The room smelled of cigarette smoke and the tub was filthy. I told the receptionist and all she said was “ oh”

The entire lobby smells like ****, the staff is unfriendly, and the paint on the room's walls is peeling off, with burnt marks on the ceiling. Definitely not going back and would not recommend staying here
