Sterling Goa Varca

Unfortunately below issues faced during stay, in-spite of booking premium suite No beer on tap Prawn curry was made of rotten coconut Shower had no water pressure & buckets were provided for shower Toiletries were of poor standards ( no ear budds) Charged additional for accommodating child (9years) while checking out. Charges we’re not discussed during check in.

The hotel is located away in the silent part of Goa. No traffic sounds to disturb you. A lot of greenery in and around the hotel. However, for the beach, one has to walk quite a bit and a good part of that road has hardly any lights . So, it’s difficult in the evening. There are a lot of recreational activities inside the hotel. The day we were there, they were organising some games for all the guests . Kids area is quite big and has lot of games, many of which grown ups can also enjoy. They had temporary tattoo service too( paid) . Pool is good size and though the water seemed bit murky when looking from distance, it was clean when we dived in. We were staying in the privilege suite, which was quite spacious and had a big balcony .Food was nice at the restaurant. However, deserts esp the one in the Indian section were over sugary as per any good restaurant’s norms. Breakfast and dinner buffet both had decent amount of options for vegetarians and non vegetarians. Chef specially prepared plain khichri for our 9 month baby . Staff was very helpful and courteous. They gifted our baby a pretty ‘I love Goa’ tee; which was very sweet gesture. Facility of baby-seat, wheelchair , umbrellas were available for the guests. They had bikes too . Cabs for airport and tour were easily arranged by the hotel. There was also a taxi centre office just a few steps from the hotel but we didn’t try it. Reception area was inviting and had a small souvenir shop which had cute stuff.I bought silver earrings from there and they are doing good so far.

Excellent food and service We really enjoy a lot with my family specially Mr Sudipta and chef Alam is good taking care of us . Highly recommend ………………………………:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Stayed at the property for 4 days...the service levels are excellent with a special mention for Sanjib & Prabin...good comfortable stay with proximity to the beach...it's a nice stay for families to enjoy their getaway...will be coming back in the future again.

We stayed here from 7th May till 11th. Comparatively good facility. Before we were at Bardez facility too. Rooms were clean but not that spacious. Room service excellent. Here I want to inform STERLING CO. that when you take group bookings see that other members will not get irritate. I think on 9-10th some sales meet people were their. From evening 6:30 they all made so much loud activities at swimming pool that next day it was really bad to use swimming pool. Even at food counter they all were misbehaving. 11th was our check out. But we came to know our train was running late. So requested desk for one more day stay and they arranged one small room for us. Food was good. I forget chef’s name but have included his picture in my review. He was excellent. Though we were in Goa there was no single seafood dish in cuisine. But he has made available. Thank you for that. And would like to suggest to include seafood dishes. Chicken is available everywhere.

Our stay was very good neat clean rooms, food excellent, everything perfect, we are in a group of 8 , nice stay, recommend to all, we had best service in restaurant by pardeep kaur, swizel and Sudipta, thank you all........................

Great location with pleasant staff. Very pleasant stay and excellent hospitality by restaurant in charge Mr.Sanjeev and his team. Food at rhe restaurant was really good with different varieties each day. Had a great time during our stay. Would definitely recommend this place

This was first family visit to South Goa ( 4 Adults) , was pleased with the room size (1105). The hotel was very good in respect to service , cleanliness , reception etc. Complimentary breakfast , Indoor swimming pool , other activities were decent enough. The beach is 10 min walk , first time we walked , later visits took our vehicle. We ate our meals near by places , so its better to have your vehicle as nothing in walkable distance. Ample parking place , and very calm location. Overall enjoyed the stay ( 3 Nights).
