"The room upgrade made the stay feel like great value for the price, and the staff were very friendly. However, we could hear chickens crowing nearby, and the tap water in the bathroom had a slight disinfectant smell, so it’s better to use bottled water when brushing your teeth. The room door only had one lock, which felt a bit insufficient; adding an extra lock would make the room feel safer. On the plus side, there was plenty of parking space, and overall we had a comfortable and relaxing stay."

"I recently stayed at the Surf Rider Hotel in Saipan and wanted to share my experience. Overall, I was very pleased with the location, facilities, and the comfort of my stay. The Great Harvest Café was excellent, and I truly appreciated the outstanding service from Tessie (Housekeeping) and Necy (Front Desk). However, I was surprised and somewhat disappointed when I inquired about using the laundry facility and was told that if hotel linens were in the washer or dryer, I could move them myself. As a guest, I would expect hotel linens to be managed by staff, both for hygiene reasons and to maintain a professional standard. That said, I truly appreciate the professionalism of the team at Surf Rider and would gladly stay again, as well as recommend them to travelers heading to Saipan. If you haven’t been to Saipan, I encourage you to visit—it’s a wonderful place and so are its people."

The best of them all is the meal. Delicious food was prepared as a buffet, and the quality of all the food was very good!! Highly recommended!"

It was pouring rain that day, and as our boat docked, the owner was there on the shore, holding an umbrella for himself and another one for us. "The owner is incredibly nice, genuinely kind and sincere. The room is clean, tidy, and safe. Compared to accommodations in my home country, it's more like a guesthouse or a budget hotel, but the location is excellent – right in the city center, directly facing the ocean. It's just a short walk to McDonald's and a supermarket, and a bit further to various Chinese, Korean, and Western restaurants, as well as an American national park. The room is spacious, and for an island accommodation, there's hardly any musty smell. The owner even handled my airport transfers in the early morning, which was super reliable. Book with confidence; Saipan is definitely worth spending a few days relaxing."

The location of the hotel is very convenient, because its in Garapan, the really downtown Saipan, only few minutes walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. "I booked this place to rest before my early morning flight on the last day and then head to the airport. Honestly, I didn't have high expectations because the price was so low, but it was surprisingly clean and comfortable. The owner doesn't speak English, but he's very friendly. If you're on a lot of tours and only have a short stay at a hotel and aren't interested in a staycation, I highly recommend this place. It's perfect for couples or groups of friends, not families! I regret paying four times the price of Crown."
