"Saya menginap selama dua malam. Lokasinya dekat dengan Stasiun Saga dan sebuah minimarket bisa ditempuh dengan berjalan kaki sebentar, jadi saya bisa menginap dengan nyaman! Kamar mandinya agak tua, tapi saya merasa area di sekitar air cukup bersih. Saya sempat bertanya-tanya apakah mereka sudah menyedot debu saat saya check-in, karena rambut berserakan di mana-mana, dan perlengkapan mandinya belum diganti, yang cukup mengecewakan. Namun, saya sangat puas dengan penginapan yang murah dan nyaman ini, dan staf resepsionisnya sopan dan ramah dalam melayani kebutuhan saya ^_^"

"Letaknya persis di selatan Stasiun JR Saga, tepat di seberang jalan. Kamarnya kecil, tapi hotel-hotel Jepang umumnya kecil. Agak ketinggalan zaman, tapi bersih, bebas bau, dan nyaman. Pelayanan resepsionisnya lumayan. Saya bisa sedikit bahasa Jepang, jadi mudah, tapi bahkan yang tidak bisa bahasa Jepang pun bisa berkomunikasi dalam bahasa Inggris sederhana, sehingga proses check-in jadi mudah. Pemandiannya kecil, tapi bisa berendam selalu jadi nilai tambah. Sarapannya luar biasa, dengan beragam pilihan dan rasa yang lezat. Ada supermarket besar di dekatnya. Ada juga beberapa restoran ramen. Saya mencoba Fukunoya, yang harganya sangat terjangkau dan makanannya lumayan (meskipun ramen Kyushu umumnya agak asin)."

"If you want to experience a traditional Japanese inn, I highly recommend this! Their “one-stop-two” food is quality. Don't expect too much otherwise: the room is clean overall, but if you have nasal allergies I highly don't recommend it! The dust in the air was quite sharp and I kept sneezing once inside. Hand sanitizer is not provided in the washrooms throughout the inn. In fact, hand sanitizer is a basic hygiene need whether after going to the restroom or before eating. I hope the person in charge can seriously improve it. In addition, the hostel does not have an elevator, if you are a family and have large luggage, be mentally prepared to move your own luggage up the stairs."

The surrounding area consists of smaller hot spring inns; this one is situated by the Kase River, so rooms with river views may have a louder sound of rushing water. The hotel is tastefully decorated, and it seems the poet Saito Mokichi once stayed here. Breakfast and dinner are quite plentiful. One thing to note: the last dish served at dinner on the second day is soba noodles (wakaboshi), which might be a bit repetitive if you've eaten at a nearby farmhouse restaurant. The grilled sweetfish at dinner on the first day was delicious. It seems all the staff are elderly women; the receptionist is quite friendly and easy to talk to. Overall, it's a very traditional, relaxing mountain hot spring inn."

"I visited Saga twice and stayed at New Otani both times. It is a bit of a distance from Saga Station, but since it is close to city tourist attractions such as Saga 360, Saga Castle Ruins, and the Art Museum, it might feel a bit tight to catch the airport bus for your return flight, depending on personal preference. However, the river view in front of the hotel is overwhelmingly beautiful, and you can also see the sunrise. While the nearest convenience store is about 5 to 7 minutes away, there are water dispensers, an ice room, vending machines for convenience foods, and microwaves in the building hallway (offering rice balls, beef rice bowls, side dishes, etc.). The guest rooms are provided with bathtubs and bath salts. The shower pressure is adjustable. The afternoon tea set and seasonal snack sets at the 1st-floor café look good in terms of composition and price."

"This hotel is really great! It's very close to the JR station, and even leaving 10 minutes early on the timetable is enough. The WiFi signal is also excellent! The room isn't small, and the details are very thoughtful.
