Loved this hotel with a few exceptions, the food, the pool, and the confusing what is in and what is not all inclusive set up. The general cleaniness and staff at the hotel were great, the area was full of shops and the beach was lovely. The biggest issue was the quality of the food at the buffet restaurant as it was very often overcooked, tough, tasteless and bland. The menu looked amazing with fish, lamb, pork in a variety of guises, but once cooked you needed a spare set of teeth to get through it. Even things like the bread was a tough as old boots. The other area that was disappointing was the lack of snacks and food alternatives during the day, if you want any food from the pool bar you have to pay for it which was confusing for an all inclusive hotel. Ultimately this became a bit of a running joke on the holiday and thankfully we were able to get into a couple of the themed restaurants which were very quiet, even though they were allegedly fully booked, but the food was very nice and we ate our fill. The pools are another point of contention, we had a room with a shared pool, but the pool was tiny, far too small to be shared by 10 rooms. Also the shared pool is borderline dangerous with steps that are unevenly spaced, included the final step which was at least a drop of 12 inch's. The other big problem with the pools were the chemicals used as they stained any light fabrics that came into contact with the water. All our swimwear is now ruined and will need to be thrown away, along with the cover up dresses and t-shirts we used near the pool, which is an annoying additional expense. Unfortunately the food is so bad that we would not recommend or return to this hotel unless there are massive improvements.

Beautiful looking pool areas, and a swimming pool room which we booked to swim in with our new 6 month old daughter looks and sounds amazing. Don't be fooled people! It's just 22c! All pools even the indoor one was freezing so lots of sun not one person in them! Ridiculous. Save your money go somewhere where they heat the pools!

This is my first time here and won't be the last. Antonio welcomed me on arrival and was very informative. My room was beautiful and VERY clean. Infact the whole hotel is spotless, you could eat of the floor. There was no rush to get a sun lounger as there was plenty which was a bonus. Towels can be hired and you leave a deposit, I guess that's refundable (I took my own). This is a family hotel and there's entertainment for your little ones as well as the adults. There is a indoor swimming pool and gym again all very clean. You can hire bikes again leave a deposit and again I assume this is refundable. The beach is a 15 minute walk away. Definitely recommend visiting it. On the way to the beach there are lots of shops, spar, pharmacy, restaurants even burger king. I had a fantastic time here and definitely recommend. My only gripe would be, some parents allowing younger children to serve their own foods. You wouldn't do it at home, so why do it on holiday.

Just returned from 11 night stay at this lovely hotel. When you arrived you pay tax we paid £62 for 2 for 11 nights. You also need a card when you check in for anything charged to your room. Newly refurbished is nice modern and very clean. We booked a swim up room which was lovely and spacious and came with flowers in there room and a bottle of cava. Bathrobes and slippers and towels in the wardrobe. Large bathroom with shower and bath. Good air conditioning large tv and all lights controlled from a panel. We did have a couple of issues - an invoice was put under our door the morning after we arrived to pay the tax but luckily we had a receipt to prove we had paid it so if you pay by cash always ask for a receipt. The shower leaked Everytime we used it but someone came to look at it and resealed however it did still leak a little. There is a fridge in the room with drinks which you have to pay for. We stayed half board and breakfast and evening meal included all food was really good and lots of choice however restaurant does get busy at times and you have to queue for food. We used the adult pool area which was lovely and quiet and had a small bar for drinks. Always beds available. The choice of drinks was very good cocktails excellent and freshly made no pre made rubbish. Prices were reasonable too. Plenty of activities free at this hotel to do. We would definitely return but don’t think he would pay the extra for a swim up room again as we didn’t really use it.

Just returned from my holiday here, lovely hotel ! entertainment team were amazing, Paula and Adriana carried out lots of fun activities throughout the day, aqua gym, darts, shuffleboard, sjoelen and many more ! We had rain for an hour on one of the days we stayed and they both quickly got out bingo to play to pass the time inside while we waited for the sun ! They both spoke a wide range of languages so were able to communicate with everyone and were incredibly friendly ! The hotel was clean, staff were always around to offer assistance, wide selection of food in the buffet restaurant, good wifi connection throughout the whole hotel! Would definitely return

Stayed at the hotel in September for a week with my partner on a half board package. Very helpful and friendly at check in with a free car park. The hotel is modern and very clean. The room was very nice and large. Both of us are vegetarian and there were always plenty of options for the evening meal even my partner who is quite fussy didn't struggle. Breakfast was the same everyday but there was enough variety to have different things. We tried the Indian restaurant one night and it was okay, the starters were good but one of the Currys was quite vingery. The drinks were priced pretty similar to the local bars and had a decent mix of cocktails/ spirts. All the staff were very friendly. The entertainment was pretty average. Not the hotel but found the area to be quiet in the evenings, the only busy bars seemed to be English/Irish bars sadly. We hired bikes for the day for free from the hotel which was nice to go to the castle and to cala bona along the front, we didn't do any other activities but looked like they had a lot on offer all quite reasonably priced. Only a 10 minute walk to the beach and plenty of shops nearby.

First time in Mallorca so first time at this hotel. Did not disappoint. Lovely quiet location. 2 good pools (adult one lovely) tho the main one never busy. Food consistently good and always plenty of choice even when going in later in evenings. Friendly staff. The resort itself was charming with lovely nature reserve by beach.Evening entertainment was ok. The bands, duo's we enjoyed. Shame more people not going to the entertainment and usual annoying young children running across dance floor when acts are on. Only downside and thats not due to the hotel just some guests ! if we return to this lovely island this will be our hotel.

We booked a swim up room for our first holiday with a 7 month old baby. The hotel itself is lovely, very clean and the rooms looked after daily. We had all inclusive and the mini-bar was topped up every day too. The staff here are very friendly, special mentions to Jimmy and David in the bar and Maria in the restaurant who looked after us and our little one all week. The vibe from the people staying at the hotel was also great, they were happy to be stared/yelled/cooed at by the little one and she loved the attention too. The food is 'decent' - its neither great nor bad. Could do with being warmer but we managed to get something every meal. The 'bookable' restaurants were a bit disappointing, we did Cardamom and Tex Mex and both were underwhelming. Sa Coma and the area surrounding the hotel is lovely, we had wanders every day to get out and about and felt safe. The only negative comments come regarding the temperature of the pool(s) - main pool is cold, kids pool is colder! Our swim up pool was warmer than both, but still 'take-your-breath-away cold. The A/C in the rooms is also poor. We had a baby camera with a temperature reader on and the room was often at 24* when the AC had been on all day at '18*' - cant imagine in in the peak of summer. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here, and would happily return at a similar time of year

Spent a week in October 2024 , half board in room 259. Everything was just perfect for us (mature couple). Rooms modern and very comfortable with everything you need. Kettle, fridge, hairdryer, TV with English channels, fantastic power shower. Nice balcony with clothes drier( ours overlooked the Serenity adults only area), nice and quiet. The staff in every department were brilliant. The buffett restaurant was spot on.Lots of choice and chef cooked my meat a little longer when asked as I like it well done. We were spoilt for choice and therefore came home having gained a few extra pounds 🫣 Lovely spa area, I have a gorgeous hot stone massage. No sunbed wars. Can't praise this hotel enough..will definitely return. We had early flight home and restaurant staff left us breakfast and drinks for the morning...a really nice touch. Well done to everyone mat this gorgeous hotel.

We stayed AI , rooms are a good size and have mini bar which is free on AI and topped up everyday. A couple of English tv channels- BBC 1 &2, BBC News, Sky News , ITV 3 and Netflix (need to log in). Room safe is €2 per day.. pool towels are €10 deposit each. Food is good, salad bar and puddings are nice. Cocktails are good, the slush cocktails are yuck at pool bar. Ask for fresh made ones which the bar staff will do. Premier brands available Smirnoff and Gordons to AI. Pool area is kept clean and there is an adult only pool with bar.plenty of sun-beds , it is October! Beach is about 8 mins walk. Lovely sandy beach and shallow for children.

Another fantastic week at Sa Coma Playa with my sister. Great fun. The staff are what make this a great place to stay - the waiting staff covering the outside seating area deserve a special mention. The newly refurbished rooms are spotless and the beds comfy. Plenty of sunbeds every time I have visited. Spa next door is great if you want to indulge. Good location if you enjoy walking, cycling or swimming.

I’ve stayed here many times during 2024 for business ! It’s excellent ! First of all the Hotel has had a refit before opening in May 2024 it’s very trendy modern and spotlessly clean ! The food is fantastic Buffett style with grill to choose from steaks fish chops squid cooked in front of you and other choices at Buffett ! Lots of choice and really nice food . The rooms are modern rain shower large flat screen TV with English Chanel’s. ITV and bbc 1 and 2 Also Netflix . Mini Bar stocked with 2 cokes 2 diet cokes 2 estella beers 2 waters 2 tonic water 2 sparkling water 2 big bags crisps orange juice apple juice which is all included if your AI . The Main pool Bar is fantastic really modern again sophisticated and great sitting area under cover they also do a lunch menu at the pool bar . The Staff at this hotel are amazing the friendliest I’ve encountered at any hotel they can’t do enough for you ! From reception to bars they are all helpful happy engaging friendly ! It’s a lovely hotel and would recommend it to anyone ! It’s beautiful great gardens surroundings !

We stayed at this hotel in September as a couple with our 3.5 year old daughter all inclusive and I’ll be as honest as possible with this review. Pros - The hotel is very clean, tidy and modern. - Outside space was great, plenty of sunbeds and places to sit and relax. - Food was pretty good, I’d say the lunches were the worst part, pretty bland to be honest. The curries in the evening were probably the best curries we’ve ever had! - The room was nice, we had a pool view and the bathroom was huge and very good too. - Location was good, a short stroll past shops to a beautiful beach in Sa Coma, a short bus trip to the larger area of Cala Bona etc - Staff, these were all great from our experience. - Atmosphere was chilled out - Mini bar included Cons - Not very lively, no daytime activities really for adults or anything to get you going. No music around pool either, it would be nice for a few hours in the afternoon. - Pretty much nothing for the kids, mini disco was 4 songs and very little effort. We ended up going to Safari hotel most evenings for the mini disco. - Pools were freezing, like ridiculously cold. The sea was warmer. - No bottle water on all inclusive and noticeably smaller drinks compared to those paying. - Lunch was pretty basic, probably wouldn’t go all inclusive. - Evening entertainment was hit and miss, a few that were ok, but mostly drab. - Checkout, if you’re leaving during the night or early morning, no food supplied even as all inclusive. Other Protur hotels offer food bags etc. - We stayed in room 107 and the air con wasn’t fantastic to be honest. It might seem like a lot of negatives, but these are all very minor. I’d recommend half board over all inclusive due to the poor lunch, there are plenty of nice places for lunch close to the hotel. The holiday overall was great and although we probably wouldn’t return to this hotel with our daughter, we would recommend it to couples or those looking for a relaxing holiday. We would definitely return to Sa Coma or Cala Bona area.

Really enjoyed staying at Protur SaComa playa hotel room was lovely and slept very well comfy bed and pillows bathroom well equipped only complaint the shower floods every use. Food we thought was excellent even though some reviews state different I don’t know what they expect sometimes. Entertainment was good some nights but ambience made it worth staying and having a drink we were half board and was surprised by how reasonable priced the drinks were and snack bar at lunch time. We have one real complaint the hotel having a corporate company sending groups of people to stay they brought the hotel down while they were there it was like being at a 18 to 30 club loud and obnoxious I felt so sorry for bar staff as they dominated the bar asking for tray’s of cocktails luckily they were gone after about 4 days but would choose not to be visiting if they were there again. Otherwise enjoyed hotel very much
