The PA and I’s arrival at this establishment was delayed after our Airbus A320 was forced to divert to Munich because of the lovely weather in Innsbruck. We were required to call a number to get a code in order to release the room key, not wanting to be charged for an international call I made the PA use his phone. Upon entering the room I was not impressed with the size, it would be difficult to swing a cat in there; it also wasn’t clear whether the door had shut properly behind us. As a result of this I insisted that the PA place a chair up against the door to offer some protection against invaders. It was at this point I discovered we had a door to a balcony (communal) so I made the PA the other chair up against that door too. The bed was extremely firm which made sleeping difficult, it was also rather small so I told the PA he would have to sleep on the chair by the door. After I called lights out it became clear the bathroom was still lit up like the Blackpool illuminations, I sent the PA to sort it out and next minute Dua Lipa was blaring out of the speakers. Once I finally got to sleep I found myself rudely awakened by the irritating noise of a dog (rat) barking, what an inconsiderate owner; I sent the PA about to take care of this dog (ideally euthanise). Overall this hotel was convenient due to its price but the sleep quality was rather poor.
