This hotels location is great. It's near to everything. I walked to the main tourist attractions. The hotel room was great. I was expecting a single room, but I got a double, always a bonus. The room is a little dated, but I quite liked that. It took me back to when I was a child going down the working man's club with my parents 🤣 keeping it retro , love it! The room had everything I needed. It was clean and light (even had shutters and blacked out curtains, which made the room dark). The staff were helpful & polite, which is all I ask for. The only negatives were the tram line (which could be quite loud and rumble at times) & the hotel tax; they wanted it in cash/euros I didn't have any euros as I didn't think I'd need them, thinking I could pay with everything by card. Other than that, a great stay in Rome.

A very clean and spacious room. Clean bathroom with good water pressure and hot water works perfectly well especially during this cold winter. I highly recommend this place to all. Their staffs were very kind and helpful. Location is great especially if you have an early airport bus to catch or morning train departure. This is a well maintained old building, and i appreciate that the hotel did some upgrading work to refurbish the bathroom/room. Thank you to everyone in Hotel Demetra.

This is a beautiful older but well maintained hotel in the center of the city with access to many stores and restaurants very close by. The staff were all very friendly and professional and I look forward to returning again in the future. The bed was comfortable and the room with a window and a view was great for people watching and fresh air if desired. The beautiful chandeliers and lights at the entrance gave a romantic and welcoming effect♥️🌹♥️🌹🌹

The only thing good about this hotel is the location. Very convenient to get around and there were a lot of food places. The service quality varied, depending on who is manning the counter. Most of the time, the staff was not too interested in our query or request. Facility was bad, the bath tub was leaking, the bathroom will flood every time we take a bath. The towels were not clean (stained) and on warm days, the staff won't allow us to turn on the air con. The shower screen was too short, and the bar holding on the shower screen detached easily. The hotel price is not worth the experience we had. Won't recommend this hotel to anyone.

The place is really well located close to the main train station and thus close to many Roman tourist attractions. Room is enough for a short stay.

The experience is not so good because of their furniture and things. Yes it was clean but not for copule friendly. I booked double bed but got two single bed. Overall receptionist was friendly..

Great service and friendly employees. The bathroom lacked some basic stuff like hairdryer or more than just one basic shampoo and soap. Great price value overall and can only recommend it.

It’s good that this place is just few steps away from Roma Termini and all the restaurants. The only downside is that, you need to give the key to the receptionist when you go out for a tour or buy things outside. Fun fact, they have elevator- the oldest kind of elevator which can fit in 2 people at a time or 2 luggages 🤭.

This hotel was super clean, service was amazing, the location is very close to the train station.

Personale Sgarbato. Ho trovato la stanza sporca, coperta con macchie e dentro l'armadio gli appendi abiti tutti sudici. Faceva schifo a toccarli! Erano pure rotti! Ho chiesto un risarcimento ed in parte mi è stato concesso. Nessun Prodotto Per la doccia e neanche il sapone per le mani. Li ho dovuti chiedere io. Ringrazio il Sig. GIANFRANCO CHE DALLA RECEPTION HA CONTATTATO I TITOLARI PER IL RISARCIMENTO.

O hotel é muito bem localizado , perto de tudo. Tivemos apenas um problema com um grupo de estudantes que estavam hospedados e faziam muito barulho na madrugada, batendo portas e gritando nos corredores … fora isso foi tudo ótimo
