Ulasan Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Rochester North Mayo Clinic

Nice location right in Rochester. I was only driving through, but there's a bunch of shops and restaurants near by to pick up food. The facilities were clean.

I had to check in late because I was coming straight from work from another state. I was hoping to get to my room, clean up, and go to sleep. I really had no other concerns. My room is on the second floor. I took the stairs. Staircase was a little dingy. As soon as I hit the second floor, the smell of patchouli incense hit me like a wall. I could not escape it anywhere I went on the second floor. Since I don't like that smell, obviously wasn't a fan. My room, thankfully, did not smell like it. The bed was made nicely, however there were paint chips off of the walls above the headboard. The bathroom had a nice heat lamp, which I appreciated coming in from the cold. The room was small, but since all that I needed to do was sleep, that wasn't a big deal. The big deal came that I could hear the TV from the room next to me going all night long. The room had the adjoining doors, and I could hear everything through them. I turned up my brown noise on my phone and attempted to sleep through it. Problem was the bed was very firm. I had a hard time going to sleep. Breakfast was the traditional hotel Continental breakfast. I got there pretty early, and I think I was the second one down, and I was hoping for good pickings. However, The bagel was dried out and felt like it was a few days old, despite being wrapped in cellophane. The morning staff was extremely friendly to a very talkative older guest. I really was happy to hear their interaction. Would I stay again? Probably.

Room was fine. Shower head needs replacing. Heater in room extremely loud. Had to shut it off so we could sleep.

A no frills hotel, decent breakfast choice, clean room, comfortable bed. Great for a short term stay. Reasonable price.

Good economical place to stay. I have stayed here several times because the beds are comfortable and it is located near several restaurants. You do need to know the traffic starts up early so ask for the west end, lower room numbers, unless you are going into Mayo early as well.

Check in was slow, property is worn down, breakfast is very limited, fitness facility is worn and limited.

I stayed here over Christmas Eve I got there and had to check in and had a hold on my card which I was told I’d get back at check out I haven’t gotten it back yet we didn’t do anything to the room

The vending machines were out of order both on the first and second floors

Microtel Rochester North is a good quiet place to stay if you have to go to Mayo clinic. It is close enough to drive in or use the shuttle bus. The breakfast is good and there are retail stores and restaurants close by as well. Have stayed there multiple times and been satisfied.

The people were great. Very welcoming. Especially Terry. He was super helpful showing me how to navigate this place and the big city. Super thankful to him. He's the reason I rebooked.

The room was clean and comfortable, but the walls are very thin - I could hear the TV in the next room clearly! Additionally, every vending machine was "out of order" and only a couple of the equipment pieces in the exercise room functioned. The breakfast was great, though!

Everything was good during my stay except for the room temperature. I could not adjust the setting to air conditioning, and the room was uncomfortably warm.

To many local and long term guest staying there. Property is ok, but the atmosphere is horrible.
