D'Andrea Mare Beach Hotel

Perfect week away. Weather fabulous too. Short transfer from airport which does mean we were on a flight path. Not an issue for us. Checkin smooth we booked a sea view and we’re upgraded to a room with 2 sofa beds. Large room, lovely fittings and nice shower. 2 issues , no drawers and the shower leaked all over the floor. My husband checked the waste which had not been cleaned adequately and removed a lot of hair. This was the cause had no issues after that. I was very surprised because the cleanliness everywhere was excellent. Food was very good, each night there was a themed cuisine. Very well run, busy but not a problem. Entertainment was good. It’s not our thing but if you like to get involved you can no pressure if you don’t. Pool was lovely with the lazy river too. The usual issue of towels on beds but again it’s not a problem for us because we also enjoy shade plus I’m not prepared to get up at 6:30am! YES honestly! There were plenty of sun beds on the grassed area with palm trees offering shade plus the view and sound of the sea was just perfect. I would recommend this hotel also if you have young children. Lovely area with 2 splash pools, climbing frame and club.

Me and my girlfriend were together for 12 Nights in the Hotel! The things we didnt Like as First: We had only one blanket and the water in the toilet was really loud when we tried to flush. Anyways, the pluspoint gor und was all the Animation Team, we want to thank them to make our Holiday to a next Level! Great service entertainment was unbelievable kids love it enjoy every moment stayed for 9 night Very happy and playful……. Kids loved the games thanks for amazing stay Hopefully will back soon ......... Best entertainment hotel in Rhodes

My husband, me and our 2 children experienced an excellent week during our stay in the hotel. First of all: the rooms are very clean, the food is better then in the most hotels we went in the past, and the staff is very polaid en welcoming. We want to thank in special, our famous bartender Jorgos, With a smile on the face everyday, helping you to enjoy your time. And also the animation team, for having nice talks, and the energy you gave us.. thank you to Laudine, for taking care of our Jenny, and Vanessa and also a big thanks to Santan en Leslie for being present always in a good mood. We wish to see you back in august, can’t wait to see more of your dances your practising now!

We stayed here as 2 families during early October. Hotel was selected based on other reviews, and we're glad we did! Everything about the hotel lived up to what we expected, and more. Some of the key points being as follows: * I'll start with the Animation Team, as they really were the stand-out point - all the Team are absolutely superb and ensure everyone's having a great time. Special shout out to Robbie (AKA Jack Grealish), Emma, Lydia and Stacey as these were the ones we interacted with most - playing beach volley ball was especially fun! Thanks to Robbie and Emma for participating in 'pass the hat' photos (if you know, you know). * All staff around the hotel are very polite and helpful. Special mention to George at the pool bar, always a big smile on his face * Food is of very good quality for an all-inclusive hotel. We've stayed at many AI hotels and this is by far the best we've ever had. I especially liked the jalapeno cheese bites/poppers on Mexican night - I'm still kicking myself for not having more! * Drinks - Alcohol is of reasonable quality, plenty of cocktails to choose from. Tip - if you're looking for a different beer to what's being served at the pool bar, then there's a self-service beer tap in the restaurant which serves Myphos/Zyphos, which I found to be better. The standard alcohol isn't the strongest, but you can ask for shots of Ouzo etc. which did get us very drunk on the first night! * Entertainment is really good. We especially liked the music quiz and the Michael Jackson tribute night. They also have Bingo and various other things. I can imagine seating will be at a premium during busier periods, which is maybe the only slightly negative point * Pool area - Good sized main pool and kids pool, water not too cold as with some hotels. Sun loungers were easy to come by, but again, not sure what this would be like during busier periods * Rooms - very clean and of a good size. Our room looked out over the pool area and Sea, which was a bonus * Hotel were happy for us to keep wristbands on and use the facilities including having lunch even though our Airport taxi was collecting us a couple of hours after check-out time on the final day Some tips I would give are: 1. If wanting to go anywhere, ask the hotel reception to order you a taxi rather than booking buses. A one-way taxi to Faliraki was just £26.50 Euros, and took about 15/20 minutes, which was a lot less messing about than buses - taxi arrives in 2 minutes. 2. If looking for bars within walking distance, go out the back of the hotel onto the beach and turn right. First bar is within 2 minutes - the Rainbow Bar. A further 2 minutes walk is Patty's Bar. 5/10 minutes walk after that is a number of bars and restaurants in Ialyssos This is a great hotel that I would highly recommend and we're hoping to return next year. I have just returned yesterday from D'andrea mare hotel after a 5 night stay. I have to say one of the best all inclusives for families I have stayed at and I am a well travelled person. I stayef with 2 children who are fussy eaters, one child is also disabled and the catering staff made sure they always had their choice in food available at all times and were very attentive. Fiona and another male manager I didn't catch his name in buffet restaurant gave me and children superb service and very friendly and smiling always and asking if food okay and if they could do anything to better the service, they truly cared to make the hotel better and to give us a good holiday. Stavroula and Mirella at the snack bar are absolutely amazing ladies, they work super hard all day non stop and give great service, make lovely food with a big smile always. I will miss you both and the lovely conversations we had, I am sorry I didn't get chance to say a proper goodbye to you both. The pools were amazing , all very clean and well kept. My sons age 4 and 15 both especially loved the lazy river and said best hotel pools from many hotels even 5 star ones we have previously stayed at. Breakfast time :7am to 10am Lunch: 12.30pm to 2.30pm. Dinner: 6.30pm to 9.30pm. However food available at all times from snack bar : hot breakfast(eggs, beans, sausage etc) at snack bar from 10am to 11.15am incase you miss the breakfast buffet, Then from 11.15am to 6pm (chips, chicken, pork or beef gyros , fruit, cakes and donuts and drinks/tea/coffee) at snack bar. There is also icecream and cakes available from 3-5pm from pool bar. Food at buffet and snack bar all delicious and such a big variety even for kids fries, nuggets, smiley faces, plain pasta etc always available. Also for vegans there was a section too and food all labelled clearly. I have stayed at many 5 star hotels big names and I will say for sure your food was much more delicious than these other hotels I have stayed at. All freshly made and enjoyable I have gained 2 kg in one week haha Thank you so much for all the lovely hospitality and care from every staff member at your hotel. Every single person was fr8endly and attentive from check in until check out. The cleaning lady was also very good at her job and room cleaned every day. Just a little friendly advice to better the hotel even though it is already amazing. The kids play area park please put a fence around it for safety so children can freely run around without parents worrying if they might fall into pool area, as park is very close to childrens splash pools and no barrier. Also please put some shade over kids park /pools espeically as rubber flooring gets extremely hot around kids splash pool and park. Also if you could add biscuits or crisps at snack bar /pool bar that would be great thank you. As a family we left yesterday feeling sad to leave but hopeful to be back again. it was a great vacation! for us the third time in d andrea mare but it's just a good hotel! good service friendly helpful and they assist you where necessary! the animation team is also great led by Robbie and Emma! they know exactly what they are doing and how to entertain the people! we will go again next year!

We have just returned from a 10 day family holiday This hotel is amazing there is so much to do for all the different ages The staff in the hotel go above and beyond to help and make sure everyone is having a fantastic time and nothing is too much for them the manager the reception and the cleaning team are all fantastic, my dad had a accident around the pool and ended up in hospital And the hotel team were fantastic in helping us in anyway they could nothing was too much for them the manager and the dark haired receptionist truly went above and beyond to help him . The Animations team,Robbie and all the girls are amazing, the entertainment they provide throughout the day is amazing and there evening shows are absolutely incredible especially there Michael Jackson show There is lots of different food choices in the restaurant with a different theme every night And the snack bar provides gyros, burgers, hotdogs, chips fresh fruit and cakes as well as lots of different ice cream choices The hotel is situated very near to the local town we’re you can find lots of different restaurants and shops This hotel is a must and we will definitely be returning in the near future

Amazing hotel and staff!! Stayed a week at Dandrea Mare with my Mrs and two teenage boys and it has been paradise. The hotel rooms are great and the look of the hotel in general is very pleasing with its own private beach. The food was 10/10 great options and themed nights (Greek, Chinese, Italian etc) lots of options. Snack bar offers gyros, burgers, chips, ice cream and cake in between meals. Alcohol wise good options ( lager,, rum, vodka, cocktails, wine. The staff at this hotel are very helpful, friendly and always have a smile. The animation (entertainment) team are amazing (Jenny, Lydia, Emma, Stacey and the Irish guy) and get you involved in waterpolo, volleyball, darts and even a night out in Faliraki (which we enjoyed). I don’t have young children but would recommend this hotel as the animation team kept all the kids entertained.
