Rhodos Horizon City-Adults Only

This was such a stunning hotel. It has recently been renovated and the decor is just beautiful. They have live entertainment on a Monday. The breakfast is immaculate and had so much variety. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Any queries we had they could help. The location is perfect! Only a short walk to the harbour. Room was spacious and lovely!

Ein sehr freundlicher Empfang. Das Gepäck wurde sogar aufs Zimmer getragen. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, die Minibar einmalig in Preis inklusive. Das Frühstücksbuffet war top und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Die Lage zentral und gut erreichbar. Lediglich der Pool im Innenhof und die Aussicht aus dem Zimmer boten ein paar Bauruinen die weniger schön anzusehen waren. Jedoch buche ich gerne wieder dort.

This really is a great hotel. It exceeded our expectations in many ways. It is the first time that the photographs of a hotel and location don't do it justice! The staff are very friendly and have a hands off approach, which makes for a relaxed atmosphere. However, if you do need anything or any assistance they are very attentive. The room was spotless and probably the best hotel we have stayed at for the use of the space,and it's functionality. There were some lovely personal touches too, like the glass of Prosecco when we arrived. There were also some nice surprises in the room to welcome us. Breakfast was amazing! The choice of items available and quality was outstanding. The hot buffet and especially the waffles were the best I have ever had! We ate in the hotel on a couple of occasions and it was delicious, very good value, and very efficient. Our only criticism would be that eating in the evening or drinking in the bar area lacked atmosphere, had the lights been dimmed it would have solved this, and the changing colour lights under the bar would have stood out a lot more. The second time we ate there we sat outside and this did help with the atmosphere! The location of the hotel is brilliant for visiting the Old Town, new town, the harbour and surrounding things of interest. We will definitely be back to Rhodes town in the future, and we would definitely stay at the Rhodes Horizon City hotel again, and that is the first time we have ever said that!

We have stayed here several times before and this hotel is still as good as ever. So many good things to mention. It is spotlessly clean. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. The bedrooms are very comfortable, spacious with excellent showers. But the most praise has to be reserved for the staff. They are outstanding. So efficient, so polite, incredibly helpful and just plain lovely. The lovely Maria and her colleagues on the front desk are first class.

Rhodos Horizon City is a fantastic adults-only hotel with the fantastic location near both the Elli beach and the Old Town. Staff was friendly and attentive. We were offered a welcome drinks when checking in. Room was very clean and room service was friendly. They were considerate and didn't come banging at the door at 7 o'clock. We had a standard room with the view to the pool side. The view wasn't fantastic, with couple of apartment buildings facing us, but it isn't very important to us anyways. AC worked really well and it was easy to use. Shower had a a nice pressure and water didn't flow freely everywhere. There were hair dryer, water kettle and average sized safe (the laptop will fit in it). A window had a blackout curtain. All in all a very nice room. The breakfast was simply wonderful. Great variety and everything was of great quality! Note that hot breakfast items are served outside in the pool site. The table cleaning was quick and staff friendly. The only have two negative things to say. First, when we arrived our room was cleaned with so heavily perfumed cleaning solution that it was actually bothered us a little. The smell was gone in couple of days from everywhere else but closets were still smelling of it day we checked out. We should have opened them for a day or two for the smell to wear off. Be sure to do that if they still use that same stuff for cleaning. :) Luckily it didn't seem to didn't stick on clothes. Second negative is that at least on the third floor room we stayed in the sounds and voices from corridor came loudly through the door. Maybe a little sound proofing might be in order? We didn't heard anything from the other rooms though, so that is good. The whole hotel has been recently renovated and it shows. The whole hotel was simply spotless. I've never seen this clean of hotel with 4 stars! All in all, simply a great hotel! Big recommendation! Would gladly visit again anytime!

We have just returned from a lovely week staying at this hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the building was very clean and well maintained. Our room partly overlooked the pool( and a wall!) but was comfortable and spacious enough for us and the suitcases. There was a very loud fan outside but it was turned off at night so we slept well. There was a little noise from the streets outside and the cleaners were extremely noisy in the morning so at least we never needed to set an alarm..The hotel breakfast was very varied including a hot buffet and even a full salad bar. The coffee was from a machine but was good although we weren't keen on the processed juices. Evening meals were available and seating was informal in open plan areas. We were spoiled for choice with dining out. I recommend Greek Stories, 4 Rodies, Peskesi and the quirky Niohori especially. The beach, harbours and amazing Old Town are very near and felt safe at night. We also took two trips to Lindos and Butterfly Valley which were great and can be booked locally. There was so much to do and the weather was fantastic in April. I would definitely recommend this hotel and the Tui reps were helpful too.

Lovely small hotel in the centre of Rhodes town. Very nice modern recently refurbished rooms. Bed was so comfy. Room standard size with quality fittings. Bath robes provided and tea/coffee facilities. Free safe and fridge too. Pool is small and very cold - though it is just the beginning of the season. Has limited sun beds around it. It’s sunny enough to sit around in the afternoon though mornings are very shady. Staff are wonderful. So friendly and helpful. Personal trainer in gym is lovely too. He was so helpful with tips on where to go and always very welcoming. All the staff were fab. Couldn’t fault them. We ate out every night as spoilt for choice for local bars /restaurants nearby. We had cocktails and drinks in hotel. All were great value and lovely. I felt the lighting in the hotel is very bright in the evenings and would definitely benefit from lowering the lights to create a more intimate setting. It was so bright it sometimes felt like an airport lounge, and lacked cosyness and warmth a bit, all of which could be transformed with simply lowering the lighting to create a nicer ambiance in the evenings. Overall though we had a fabulous 11 days here and felt so welcome. Tui reps were also great. Always on hand and so friendly and efficient. I recommend this lovely hotel and all its lovely staff without a doubt.

We booked this hotel for our 3 nights in Rhodes with jet2. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived till check out.The staff is very attentive and the rooms are clean and well kept. Breakfast was delicious and cocktails are to die for. Many thanks to all the staff for making our stay very enjoyable.

What a fabulous hotel this is? All the staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough to ensure we enjoyed our stay with them. We had excellent nights sleep in very comfortable beds. The rooms were well kitted out. Breakfast and evening meals were scrumptious, which catered well for my husband who doesn’t eat meat. The pool was cool and had limited sunshine for to the city location but I imagine this would be a god send in the heat of Summer months. We loved it and will definitely return the next time we’re in Rhodes.
