整體算乾淨 空間不是很大 一個人住剛好
無人管理的酒店多少還是讓遊客有些不踏實
聯絡也不是很方便 剛好遇到一對新加坡遊客 他們沒有收到房間密碼 在酒店外面折騰很久

Very convenient property, located in an easily accessible area. Room was spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable. Was a great staging point for travelling out of Reykjavik to sites. Would thoroughly recommend.

Love the check in process, a PIN number for the front door and straight to your room.
Rooms very big and clean. Great for our family. We will definitely stay again when coming to Reykjavik.

I don’t liked that nobody in the hotel. I was during 2 hours outside hotel tried to go inside. Because code to open de door doesn’t work. Bad experience outside was -7 degrees

The toilet keep flushing itself, was noisy whole night.
And then we called the service department, he said somebody will come to fix it but nobody come to 😞

Staying at Alva Hotel in Iceland was an absolute delight. The cleanliness was impeccable, matched only by the well-equipped facilities that truly made the stay comfortable. We ask only for 1 day service, and they didn't refill coffee, sugar and creamer. That was the only downside

We landed from the USA at 5:00 AM, we called the hotel to see if we could possibly get into our room around 10:00 AM and they said our room was clean and open for us to enter early! What a blessing! We were so tired and appreciated the opportunity to take a nap! THANK YOU!

Am Kompliziertesten war der Check in. Um das Zahlenschloss am Eingang zu öffnen, musste man vom eigenen Handy eine Nummer anrufen. Das Hotel kommt komplett ohne Personal aus. Die Zimmer sind groß, Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher, Gläser und ein paar Kapseln waren vorhanden- leider zu wenig Ablagefläche.
Während unseres 1wöchigen Aufenthaltes wurde nicht geputzt und keine Mülleimer geleert, auch keine neue Bettwäsche.
Aber der Preis ist extrem günstig, trotz des Drecks würden wir wiederkommen.

Bed and bathroom not sufficiently cleaned as I found body hairs in both. This is a self-service hotel, so no staff is on-site. If you have selected pay on arrival, beware that you must first submit payment via a secure pay link they will provide before your access code will work to get you into the building. I would have liked to have known this before arriving and standing in the cold trying the access code dozens of times...

The stay was amazing! Room is spacious with a comfortable clean bed, kitchen big enough for cooking, the huge bathtub was amazing perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We arrived early and they were nice to let us check in at 9am. They email you a code and use that to go in the hotel as well as your room. There is no one in the front desk but that’s ok we knew that coming in. Communication with the staff was through email and was fast responses. This is more like apartments studio style very futuristic too. Location is good walking distance to center of Reykjavik and the closest Bonus grocery store is on skipholt which is a 10 minute walk. We love being active so we never mind the walking. They will clean your room when you request it. There’s fresh fruit on the table and you can grab more from the hallway. If you plan to go to the sky lagoon is walking distance as well if you feel like it 40 min walk otherwise taxi is 30 dollars each way. We had an amazing stay here and would do it again! Thanks Alva!

The location is not the best but 20 minutes walk from the downtown is acceptable. Love the designs of the hotel and the amenities. The room is very spacious and has most of the things you’d need for a stay. It is really nice to see coffee machine and fruits in room. Everything is very neat and tidy. However, the check-in process was not satisfactory. It is really hard to reach out to a staff in the hotel. The self-check-in process requires an email from the hotel that tells you the room number and passcode. Since the only pin is got was the booking pin but not the check-in pin, it took me long time to realise I did not possess the check-in pin to enter the hotel. The hotline provided by the hotel was not working at all. Thankfully trip.com’s CS was really helpful in contacting the hotel for me. The hotel’s staff were really friendly and polite but the fact that I didn’t receive the room no and passcode beforehand was still very frustrating. Therefore the best advice to book this hotel is to check whether you have the room number and passcode at least 1-2 days before your stay. Other than the check-in issue, I had a nice stay here.
