The hotel is in a great location. However, there wasn't a sign to find where it was (it was in an alley by a restaurant). Also, we were on floor 1 and didn't know that to get to our room, we had to walk through a restaurant every time. Also, not the hotel's fault (I think), but the fire alarm randomly went off at 7 am one morning, and we needed a security guard to help turn it off.

Dont go there, it s dirty, stinky, and you ll see nobody..the woman at Phone was maybe in India.. old food under chair, every thing was dirty, like if nobody clean it for a month.. ce sont des voleurs..

I'm going to save you a massive headache and hassle. please do not book at this place. zero communications. couldnt check in. becuase they didnt send us check in details. called them at night time. after checking in the room was in absolute disgusting messy state. we were given a room that had guest check out but no cleaners cleaned up. it was beyond clean and unhygienic. hair everywhere, dirt mud. filthy. Bed sheets had marks and some traces of blood on them. we called up to complain and to be moved somewhere else. instead they said they will clean the room and refund our money. still waiting for the refund. the manager is deceitful. Please do not touch this place.

Very dirty - black moms in bathroom. Terrible condition- no bracket in shower for nozzle- broken off and not repaired- no toilet paper dispenser, outlet in bathroom out of the wall, only 1 dim light in room, no working light in kitchen. Very bumpy and hard mattress. Worst was people yelling until 4-5am EVERY night. Cars Erving engines outside until same time. Terrible experience.

Advantages: Great location, right in the heart of Reyjkavik downtown. Disadvantages: 1. Difficult to find. There is a handpainted sign on the wall but it's difficult to find." The best way to find the hotel is to look for Kron's Restaurant. Kron's appears to be part of the hotel. 2. The check-in is online. You will get an email on the day that you check in. Therefore, it would be very difficult if you wish to store bags in advance of the check in. Kron's proprietor was kind enough to allow me to leave my luggage in her restaurant. This is also a problem if you booked the property through a third-party site. You have to call the hotel to give them your phone number. 3. The rooms require updating though there is kitchenette (with some plates, bowls, silverware, and pots and pans.) My room in the rear was spacious and had a terrace but the terrace was not maintained well and the terrace furniture was sad. The guests in the adjoining room used their terrace and unfortunately I could hear their conversations. 4. The blinds on my windows were inadequate to block the 24 hour sunlight during the "night." 5. There is no one on the premises, except those who clean the rooms on the checkout days. 6. Bring your own toiletries.

First at all, we didn't receive any information how to get in and which room number we had. So we called the contactperson. Well, we received code and room number in a weird way of communicating, but we couldn't find the room because there was no plate on a few rooms. So we tried several room with the code, apparently we could open all rooms with this code. After a few minutes received an angry call from the contactperson that we opened other rooms, what we already find strange... Because apparently it was the emergency code which we was not told to us. Well, we found our room and we booked for 3 persons but the room was also apparently for 2 persons... Luckily, there was a sleeping couch. But after all, the way how it was organized by this company and the way how the contactperson (JUSTIN) was communicating to us was horrible. Next advice for this company. Please, improve your communication skills, be more precisely with the information what are you giving and fix your customers problem before blaming them. Only the positive things is that the room were allright.

No es un hotel. Es una habitación con cocina en un edificio de estudios. No hay recepción, es checking on-line. No recibimos el mail con el codigo de seguridad para entrar y al llegar tuvimos que llamar por telefono. No hay bar ni restaurante del hotel, pero para subir en ascensor se ha de pasar porun restaurante que lleva un particular. No hay amenities en el baño, y por no haber ni un colgador para las toallas. La habitación sucia, muchos cuadros con telarañas. Luces que no funcionan, el extractor de la pequeña cocina no funciona. Avisamos a la chica de la limpieza, pero es de una agencia y solo va a limpiar cuando alguien sale. Eso sí, en pleno centro.
