"We’ve stayed at the Raglan Sunset Motel as a group several times, and the service is always outstanding. Jo and her team are incredibly friendly, accommodating, and always go the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable. The rooms are clean, the beds very comfortable, and the kitchen facilities and excellent shower are a real bonus. We also made use of the Karioi conference room for our group meals — a fantastic space with great amenities. The location is perfect: right next to the Four Square and within easy walking distances to cafés, restaurants, the beach, and the park. We highly recommend Raglan Sunset Motel and will definitely be back."

"Ordered a plain cheese pizza to takeaway. Waited 40 mins, then asked on how long it was going to be. The staff member then told me it had been ready for half an hour. Then went on to tell me I should have alerted other staff to where we were waiting. Took the pizza away, then discovered they had messed up the order by adding tomatoes to the pizza. Returned and tried to flag down a staff member to get it replaced, who then told me I must go to the bar and talk to the staff there. The staff member behind the bar informed me he could not help me then stood and did nothing. Eventually the same staff member who I raised the issue with came to the bar and asked me what the problem was!! I explained to her again that the order was wrong and that we had waited over 40 mins for the pizza. She went off and came back to confirm that the order was in fact wrong. We then ordered another pizza which we waited for then left. This whole process took over an hour. The manager never got involved and on two occasions ignored me whilst I waited to be served. Terrible service and will not be returning."
