Hotel de La Gare

This is a hotel near the train station. This area isn't as cute as the old town, but is very convenient and walkable to everything. We loved our walks to and from old town (from the hotel, it's a short walk to the very pleasant river, and along that to the old town). We stayed 3 nights, two adults and a 10-year-old. Rooms are small and relative sparse, but work great. We loved the big window. Access to the train station was great -- walk out of the hotel and the train station is right across the street. We walked it in the rain and it was so close it didn't matter. This isn't a luxury hotel, but we found the service fantastic. Really appreciated the front desk and breakfast buffet crew. Recommended!

Great hotel located in front of the train station. 15min away by walk from the old town. The rooms are not facing the street so it is very calm. Friendly staff and very clean rooms/bathroom. I had a great stay and would definitely recommend it!

We stayed for one night & were very pleasantly surprised by our welcome & the value for money of the accommodation & what it provided. The staff were welcoming & the breakfast was excellent. We will stay again.

Je pense que : PARFAIT résumerais bien ce premier séjour à Quimper pour ma part ! Arrivée le samedi 16 juin, après 7h longues heures de train, j’ai vite oublié la pénibilité du trajet grâce à l’accueil chaleureux d’un jeune homme à l’accueil qui a su m’accueillir avec le sourire, la convivialité et qui m’a de suite aider à décompresser ! Après avoir découvert la chambre, ce jeune homme me propose de me rendre à la réception pour me partager les « bons plans » et sorties à faire aux alentours durant mon séjour ! Explications au top, et un maximum d’endroit à découvrir ! La chambre est spacieuse, propre, je n’ai rien à redire sur la qualité de la prestation ! La salle de bain est impeccable, une grande douche quel bonheur ! Quant au petit déjeuner : une merveille, variée, complet toujours servie avec le sourire du jeune homme ou de la gérante qui prenne le temps de s’occuper de chaque client ! Comment ne pas bien démarrer la journée après un tel accueil ? Mes 3 nuits dans cet hôtel ont étaient ideales, si j’avais à nouveau un séjour à faire à Quimper c’est sans hésiter que je choisirais l’hôtel de la gare ! Jusqu’à mon départ tout était impeccable ! Merci pour votre accueil, pour votre convivialité et votre bonne humeur communicative (tellement de bonnes ondes durant ce séjour que mon entretien s’est avéré positif et que des septembre je m’installe dans le coin) !
