The Carlin Boutique Hotel

在樓下被震驚以為是居民樓，進來了豁然開朗。酒店總共沒有幾間房，非常boutique。室內軟裝就是國內高端酒店的普通標準，沒有驚艷，但露台的景色絕了，Jacuzzi很加分

酒店是小型豪華酒店。當然房間並不小。在房間房品服務上很下功夫。除了餐食有待提高，沒有什麼不滿意的。

Good * Most of the hotel's staff who we engaged with are nice. Especially, Canadian lady from breakfast is an excellent asset for the hotel. She is so friendly and brings positive energies all around. Also, want thank a young French chauffeur and a bartender for their subtle yet sheer enthusiasm. * Most of the hard products throughout the hotel since they are still in newer condition. Especially, Kohler washlet. * The sunset view. * Breakfast and room service menu from Oro restaurant. Bad * This hotel may be good enough for Queenstown, but Not good enough for real 5 star property outside of Queenstown.... inadequate to meet basic requirements. Please, see my comments or pix. * Very very very weak shower water pressure. It's ridiculous. * The room gets very loud and noisy from other rooms and the hallway. No sound proofed walls. Hear noise from next room and above all night long. * Need one consolidated smart control panel instead of every corner of the walls * Not much privacy on the balcony and hideous partition. * Mattress quality : It's sunken and dipped too much. I'm surprised no one has complained yet? * Have doubts about some of the design and material choices for hard products and Especially, curve appeal if they will age well.... * Got one way pick up with a Cayenne and one way drop off with a local taxi that is not as advertised. At both times of arriving and leaving, Bentley was just sitting in the parking lot. Guess, YMMV... * Never got welcome vibes from the on-site manager during my stay. What's up with that? * Didn't get to settle the folio until check out since their system was down.

WOW is all we can say. What a beautiful hotel in every way. From airport collection to being greeted by the fantastic and helpful staff, my wife and I were blown away. The rooms are really large with a generous master, master on suite, dining area and separate living area that is sell contained. The balcony includes a generous size hot tub with priceless views of Queenstown. As special shout out to the amazing Patrick who went over and above to make our stay very, very special. Patrick not only genuinely cared about our experience but helped us with plenty of activities and restaurants. The Carlin is the only place we will now stay at while visiting Queenstown and look forward to our next trip.

We had the best experience staying here! Felt so incredibly special & looked after the entire time. Big shout out to Patrick who made us feel that way, can’t say enough kind words about him he did the absolute most for us. That man needs a raise!

The Carlin is truly exceptional. The Bayview suite with its panoramic lake and mountain views is sublime and our 10 night stay could not have been better. The wonderful staff are first class, providing professional and friendly service. Patrick is an exceptional ambassador for the Carlin brand. He has an enviable skill set of being able to provide meticulous and professional service with a friendly and respectful demeanor. James is the Carlin’s extremely talented mixologist who took care and pride in the preparation of an amazing array of cocktails.. A wonderful asset to the hotel. There is so much to love about The Carlin and we thank them for a truly memorable holiday.

The most amazing hotel we have ever stayed in. Service and accommodations were outstanding. Patrick was a standout his amazing attention to detail and willingness to accommodate our every request was beyond what we have ever experienced. We cannot thank the Carlin Hotel and in particular Patrick enough for one of our most amazing holidays.

My friends and I spent 2 nights at the Carlin Hotel. I could not speak more highly about my stay at the hotel. The service is impeccable and attention to detail is above and beyond. Starting with Aiport pick up in the Bentley and then being welcomed by drinks at the hotel. The staff are very warm and accomodating and there to help you with anything you need. The rooms are fabulous- very impressive fit out and decor, very comfortable beds, lovely indoor and outdoor fireplace, fabulous lighting, well equiped kitchen and mini bar. Again fabulous attention to detail including fresh flowers in the lounge - we didn’t want to leave our room! Dining at Oro Restaurant is a very special experience, we were lucky enough to be there with live music. The food is absolutely superb - one of my best ever Queenstown dining experiences. Every dish we had was divine. I could not more highly recommend staying at Carlin Hotel.

This is a lovely new 6 star hotel located in Queenstown. The rooms were of a good size, plush towels, comfortable beds, the staff were attentive and pleasant, the spa pool on our balcony a delight. We took advantage of a in room massage (the hotel has no dedicated spa) and ate dinner at their restaurant which had an extensive menu and was very enjoyable. The reason we gave it a 4 star rating instead of 5 stars was due to several things. Firstly there was still a bit of construction noise on both days we stayed. This was rather annoying and ruined the peace and quiet of trying to relax, particularly when sitting outside in the spa. One afternoon, we tried several times to phone the main desk (no one would answer) to order a platter of oysters from the All Day Dining menu and cocktails and was told the kitchen and bar were closed 🤷🏻‍♀️ This was very unexpected in a six star hotel to be told this. When we went down on Sunday to the bar about 6pm to have a pre dinner drink there was literally no one around. The hotel appeared deserted. We then tried to find someone to give us a ride into town to go to a bar for a pre dinner drink but there was absolutely no staff to be found anywhere. We ended up ordering an Uber. Again, in a six star hotel, this is very unexpected. Whilst some treats were brought to our room each afternoon, we missed not having a common space (such as a bar) for guests to meet for complimentary pre dinner drinks and canapés as provided with other luxury hotels in Queenstown. Our breakfast each morning was also unfortunately a little underwhelming. Small portions and overcooked items. I wanted to love this hotel but it didn't hit a six star experience. It's got potential and I'd give it the benefit of the doubt being they have just opened but if they are wanting to attract discerning customers and charge a premium, their game needs to be lifted. Everything needs to be spot on. Other things to note is if you want to walk into town the hill leading up to the hotel is VERY steep. You need decent shoes (ideally flat) and good mobility with reasonable fitness.
