A great stay right on the beach. The suite was spacious with a wall of windows facing the water. We visited in the off season but it was great to be woke up by seals and surf. Definitely worth a visit. There are restaurants and pubs within walking distance

Very clean & welcoming room. View of the ocean. Lovely outdoor courtyard & BBQ area with beach access that we can only assume is gorgeous in the warmer months (our stay was for visiting family at Christmas).

The room was larger than expected, the kitchenette was extremely useful and it beautiful and quiet. Only problem was the TV. The remote did not work. But we didn't go there for the TV.

Buena Vista by the sea is right on the beach which is very hard to find. I enjoyed walking along the ocean at low tide. there is a great restaurant just a two minute walk down the road. I'll be back again.

My stay at this hotel was adequate and we had a good view from our deck however there was limited parking available. We did park in front on a busy highway. The location was okay and fortunately there was a nice restaurant across the street. I’m not sure if I would stay there again.

The area is wonderful. Drive into town easy. Parking is difficult due to size and proxcimitry to road. Beds are firm.

Beautiful view and the beach is just right there. The room was clean and comfortable with a kitchen if needed. All in all a wonderful experience. Would definitely book here again.

We have stayed at Buena Vista in the past and love the location. The check in was easy and while the rooms have dated decor, they are very clean and in excellent condition. The kitchen is adequately equipped and the bathroom is large. The big common decks with lots of flowers and plants are great. It would however have have been nice to have a small bistro table and a second chair just outside of the sliding door of our lower, ocean side suite.

It is a nice place. Amazing view, full kitchen. They treated us well. The carpets etc are a bit dirty. Maybe one should expect that in a beach hotel. It is right on the main road. Traffic noice was not so much an issue with the bedroom door closed. backing out of the parking spot was more of an adventure, and backing in was not an option.

Great little hotel, right on the beach in Qualicum. The location is fantastic and the suite was comfy and quaint. We would stay here again, any time!

A great place to stay. The view from the back is amazing. The water is closer than you think. Perfect for a couples get away.

Have been here many times and appreciate the quiet and location. The present owner was very efficient but somewhat remote.
