Falcon Hills Hotel

My Personal review of this hotel based on price and expectation. We paid around £460 each for A/I for 1 week at this hotel. We arrived just after 9pm on the 16th April 2024, we were told that the restaurant had closed but if we went through someone would bring us food, which was very nice, I have been to hotels where if you arrive after the restaurant has closed it was tough luck. We had a lovely selection of food and desserts brought to us, we then checked in and were taken to our room, we are two female friends, so was glad of the twin beds, they were a little hard but we slept fine. The room could be classed as a little dated, but had everything we needed and the bathroom had a lovely big shower, there was a hairdryer, though I didn't use it. There was an English film channel on the TV which was also nice and a fridge. We were on the ground floor and had a view over what I guess was like a back garden, there was a seating area and a tennis court. After unpacking we went to try the bar, we were all inclusive and the choice of drinks wasn't huge compared to some AI hotels, however on spirits there was a choice of Whiskey, Brandy, Rum, Tequila, Vodka & Ouzo, and Beer I assume (but I don't drink it), and regular soft drinks including Orange & Pineapple juice, you could get bottled water after 10am, also not always available in other hotels I have been to. The bar staff are very friendly and will make any cocktail that uses the above spirits if they can. I tended to stick to Vodka, but had to ask for weaker ones as they started off very strong! Our first full day we went for a walk, we found a row of shops within a few minutes walk and a 'Beach' though not a sandy one, it was a jetty where you could dive / snorkel, but still had loungers where you could sit and relax and have a drink. I have been to quite a few not budget but mid priced AI hotels and this one has to have the friendliest staff I have ever been to, nothing was too much trouble and always a smile. The food, some may say not a huge choice, but I can be quite picky and I always found something to eat, for breakfast there was always the station making omelettes (or fried eggs) and pancakes, no full English here, but this is Egypt, and it was good to have traditional food, the pastries at breakfast were awesome, likewise for lunch and evening meal, always chicken & fish with assorted veg and at least one pasta dish, for evening there was something on the station outside and one evening we had a BBQ, desserts were the best. I would say if you wanted to eat English food every day or were taking kids you might be disappointed, but we were perfectly happy with the choices on offer. We had a lovely man who cleaned our room and he left us towel art every day, It was my friends birthday while we were there and she had something special every day, a big thank you to him, I think his name was Reda and he was so lovely. On arrival to the hotel, we were shown to our room by a helpful man. Food was not always to my choice but still edible. Pool is very clean and nice seating area is good both by pool and bar. The bar and catering staff very friendly. Animation was very good considering not many people here. Always had a little dance for the kids mini disco. Music always turned on. Holiday alone with two teenagers. Things to do off site short taxi ride to entertain them.

Air conditioning is good and works efficiently. When the hotel was quiet the entertainment still was able to put a show on. All staff very friendly and welcoming. View from hotel is amazing. The beauty salon behind the hotel is good quality.

The staff are nice,rooms are kept clean food is normal,nice environment not too busy id give credits to jemila and mecano the pool is kept clean the activities keep you busy and are fun,hotel shops are not that expensive and have useful things :)

I like this place, clean rooms , good food with options for everyone. Nice people working in the staff and providing good service. Also liked the massages at the place for relaxation Only thing could be better is if it was directly located to the sea.

Lovely workers, everything done by them was friendly. Beds were a bit to hard to sleep on. Loved the heated pool. In march not too crowded. Food for an European was a bit too over spiced but that is the fun of it, to experience different tastes. Staff is friendly as long as they get their tips. Greetings from Estonia!

A small 3-star hotel where you get the feeling that you are staying at home. We stayed at Falcon Hills for 14 nights, but it felt like 2 months. Super friendly and helpful staff! We met such nice people at the hotel (both the staff and other guests who visit this hotel 5, 10, 50 times already)! The reason why I like to visit smaller 3-4 star hotels rather than big 5 star hotels is that you get to know the staff and the local culture better. Special thanks to Samir (handsome guy with a nice haircut, works on the terrace of the restaurant), I will remember you forever ❤. Thanks to Eslam for 5 star service in a 3 star hotel 😊. Many thanks also to the other hotel staff, thanks to whom our vacation was so pleasant and we felt like we were staying at home. Always remember to treat people the way you want to be treated! The only downside was that our bed linen was never changed during the 14 days. But I am sure that if we had contacted the hotel reception, it would have been done immediately. Thank you Falcon Hills for such a great vacation! An unforgettable experience!

Such a shame to have to write this reveiw but there are too many people working here that aren't honest, the attached supermarket to the hotel overcharged my debit card for four times the value of the purchases, hotel management were brilliant helping me get it back but even the gift shop rip you off supermarket across the road better SSI scuba/ diving company brilliant, Jakson and staff at Healing touch spa absolutely awsome best value for money and beyond affordable....but some cleaning staff steal silly things food okay if you like cold chicken a million ways shame as really tasty and in general staff serving cant do enough a real mixed bag ....but sadly will not be returning 😞 such a shame if they could get rid of the few bad apples be a 5 star reveiw ....love Eygpt and best part of holiday we're the tourists from all over the world at the hotel but a lot of theft, dishonesty and language barrier when it suited them ... will visit Egypt again but not Falcon hills 😢
