It's obvious that W (Marriott) has invested a great deal in building this new property. Unfortunately, every interaction with staff over the our 5 day staff left the strong impression that they had never worked in a hotel or restaurant and are opperating without supervision. If you are not out of your room before 10:00AM each day, don't expect it to be cleaned. Every dish or piece of cutlery at the extensive breakfast buffet(s) is, more likely than not, dirty with yesterday's food. Despite the resort being at perhaps 20% of capacity (May), any food or drink order will take 4 times longer than you might expect. We ordered wine with dinner and, despite chasing twice, it did not arrive until the meal was over... no apology or reason given. The staff are not rude or uninterested. They just don't seem to have any training or supervision. It's like they have just been given a uniform and told to have a go at it. Overall, quality of food and wine is poor, given the price and positioning of the W brand. After a few bad experiences, we have been walking over to the adjacent Mandarin Oriental as an expensive but good quality alternative. There seem to be a strange fascination with live DJs... As if the management is looking for any opportunity to turn this high end beach resort into Las Vegas ****** pool party. It is just tone deaf. The average guest is 50+ and relaxing by the pool. All of a sudden another DJ pops up and blasts house music across the resort for 6 hours straight. This could either be a great destination if management get their act together and train their staff, or...maybe not. At the May rates of around 350Euro it is unacceptable. At the summer rates of over 1000Euro night, this will be a bad joke.

Just fabulous great setting amazing architecture wonderful landscaping amazing golf courses Service good accept around the pool but this was addressed when mentioned Lots of nice places to eat nearby as well

Recommended to come by plane to Kalamata, 3 different hotels at same club,all good with variety of activities including many restaurants and bars, pools and stores, a fabulous beach with the Barbouni restaurant , it’s recommended to reserve a few days in advance

Amazing sea side resort. Subtly luxurious, peaceful, ideal for a relaxing break. Our room was a sanctuary of comfort and style, a perfect blend of modern elegance and coastal charm. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of variety, but dinner at the hotel restaurant was even better. Lastly, I must commend the resort's staff for their exceptional service. Each team member, and especially the manager Kostas Kanaris, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was unforgettable. Would definitely (probably will) stay again soon.

We have travelled all over the world to many beautiful resorts and the W Costa Navarino was one of the best experiences we have ever had. The property is new and situated on a long private beach. The "Agora" which has nice shops, restaurants, etc is right next door. The accommodation was beautiful, clean & modern with every amenity you can think of. The staff went above and beyond to provide us with the best possible service. Rooms were spotlessly clean and well appointed. Housekeeping staff were lovely and always making sure you have everything you needed. The hotel was at full capacity and it seemed empty because there were always lots of pool chairs and beach chairs/umbrellas available. It never felt crowded. The property is beautifully landscaped. Parelia restaurant on the property was excellent as was the Piqantro (Spanish style) restaurant on the property but up the hill which can be accessed by hotel shuttle. All staff went out of their way to provide us with an exceptional experience - Danae at the Between Lounge gave us excellent Beach Service every day and Alexandra the Whatever/Whenever Agent made our Anniversary celebration and many aspects of our stay very special. Also, the breakfasts at this place are unbelievable - 4 separate rooms filled with every food you can think of. I can't say enough great things about this resort. It was perfect in every respect.

An amazing hotel in a great location. It is a place of high aesthetics, where the visitor can experience absolute relaxation. The architecture of the buildings and the interior decoration, including the guest rooms, are exquisite. The exteriors and landscape architecture are dazzling. The beach is wonderful. Everything is meticulous in its detail. The breakfast is also excellent, providing countless delicious options. The Whatever/Whenever 24/7 concierge service is incredible. But what made this hotel stand out for me is their supreme professionalism, which I saw in the flawless manner in which they handled a minor housekeeping error. They managed to turn a flaw into their advantage, causing me not only to immediately forget the incident, but to admire and congratulate them. I highly recommend!

This was our second visit to this fabulous hotel and I can highly recommend it. The location is fantastic and the hotel staff really make you feel welcome. They have mastered the discreet, yet warm and friendly service. The gardens and beach area are maintained to the highest standards and the breakfast buffet is one of the best I have experienced, even if it is all rather spread out into different areas. We also enjoyed the fact that local Greek restaurants are within walking distance along the beach if you want a variety of food options. We rented bikes and took a boat tour and the Navarino service at both these facilities was very good. I enjoyed a yoga lesson one morning which was great, but just a bit too short (just 30 minutes).

We have just returned from the W at the Navarino, and had the most fantastic time. Incredible food, great service and Konstantinos, who runs the operations, ensures that your stay is perfect. The restaurants at the W are great and the W also provides shuttles to the other Navarino restaurants so that you have lots of other options. They have great water sports available on the beach and so your days can be as busy or as relaxing as you want. The service was incredible; nothing was too much trouble. Such a fantastic time and look forward to coming again next year. Thank you so much
