This is a lovely hotel, it was midterm and there was a lot of families hut they were well mannered and the hotel was a very calm place. Apartments are on 2 levels the upper level was the pool area. Everywhere was spotless and staff were friendly and helpful. We've booked again for february. There was a good selection of food. The only slight negative is that the food could be hotter. Apart from that We loved it. AAA++++++

Fantastic hotel, all of the staff are really friendly and helpful, the complex is spotlessly clean with a lovely pool and lovely poolside bar. My only gripe is the amount of disgusting smokers around the large pool and kiddies pool, there should be a smoking ban around these areas and there should be a designated area for people who choose to partake in their disgusting habit. We've been staying at this lovely hotel for a few years now and we will be returning in the future, in fact this coming January is our next holiday here.

I would definitely recommend, all the staff are friendly and helpful, we stayed for 2 weeks bed and breakfast, the food at breakfast was fantastic. The hotel was clean and rooms are amazing, great air con. You have maid service 6 days out of 7 who do a great job. Will definitely be going back.

Stayed here for 10 days with friends. We stayed in room 606 which was on the corner with a roomy terrace to sit and enjoy. We were half board and the food was excellent with plenty to choose from every morning and night. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, roomy and well equipped.

First time at the Gloria Lzaro and wasn't disappointed.Rooms cleaned everyday bar Wednesday and were spotless.pool was busy but we're not really fussed for the pool but they had lovely loungers on the first level away from the pool nice and quiet.pool bar good value,towels you can rent for a deposit and then return them for clean ones.breskfast was great plenty of choice.As others have said maybe a bit more nightlife in the bar of an evening.Location is at the top of a hill but nothing Lzaro can do about that.Yes I would recommend staying there and probably will again.

Not too many places try there best to accommodate your unexpected early arrival you guys excelled yourselves. Fifi l know l am probably spelling that wrong you are so lovely. Apartments and grounds are a credit to you all everything is spotless, beds and towels changed regularly. Eat breakfast and dinner each evening and there was always something tasty to suit all. Staff were friendly and welcoming we will definitely stay again, well done Gloria Izaro you have a beautiful team and an amazing place.

Lovely apartments spacious,comfy double bed,pull out bed not so comfy and every movement it creeks,shower in our room very powerful friends room not so,air con ok if you get it right will cool down bedroom eventually,thought pool was superb nice and cool at first but couple of minutes it’s great,very busy through the day at poolside had towels removed as we were at breakfast and they where thrown in a corner and pegs, so people lost pegs also if you hire towel from hotel you would struggle to find your original and most likely end up with someone else’s,breakfast was decent nice outside patio area to sit and eat breakfast,hotel needs to do something to keep fruit juice and cold water cold as not great when it’s not chilled,nice walk down to old town hill not to bad,reception very helpful,restaurant staff very nice.

Had a really enjoyable 7 night stay here in August as a family of 5. Pros: Quick & efficient check-in on arrival. Apartment was overall nice & spacious. Maids don't work on a Wednesday but other than that they are kept really clean everyday. Beds were incredibly comfortable, always a big plus point! Breakfast food was delicious with a great variety to choose from. Very modern & stylish bar area. Close to the supermarket. Cons: Coach drop-off & pick-up isn't done directly outside the hotel, it's done a slight walk away down the road. Evening food wasn't the best, just repetitive and would describe it as being just ok. Only a small pool area with a limited number of Sun loungers, if you're not willing to be out with the towels at 7am then you'll miss out for the day. Not a real issue for us, but the hotel is situated at the top of a relatively steep hill, we hadn't realised when we booked that it's quite a walking distance from the beach and the center. Overall we had a nice stay here. There was nothing particularly bad about the hotel but we wouldn't seek it out to stay there again. Number 1 reason would be because of the location but other than that I don't think anyone would be left disappointed staying here.

I really can't fault the Gloria Izaro,the place is extremely well kept, the staff are very friendly. Plenty to choose from at breakfast. Great food served at the pool Bar. Great location 10 min walk to the old town and a 20 min walk to the new town. This is my 5th time staying at the Gloria Izaro and certainly won't be the last.
