This hotel is up a steep road but has good waterside views from its front. I took ages to be checked in. I had to carry my suitcase up 18 or sovstone steps to receptoon, and then up an uneven spiral staircase of local wood to the room. Part of the staircase lacked a handrail. No doubt the owners love it but a lift would have been far more practical. The hotel lacks a pool, unlike the Palau Hotel that the tour organiser had said we were booked in. I avoid group tours but had no option if I wanted to travel on Sardinian trains as independent travel is impossible on some line sections due to trains only being available for special runs. Aircon, WiFi, the shower and hot water were all very good. The hotel had booked our coach driver to share my room. Not acceptable! I had this sorted. The breakfast was fine. Linen was OK. No tea, coffee or kettle in the room. A bidet was in the bathroom along with shampoo. The lack of a pool and the ill-advised spiral staircase downgrade this to 2.5 stars. Not 3 or 4. The hotel is building a few more rooms. A pool ought have been the priority. The staff's English was poor to fair. Amazing in a locality that relies so heavily upon tourism.

Not really sure how this hotel managed to get 4 stars... Staff: when asked for a better pillow on day 2, it was there when we came back. However you would expect them to greet guests as they enter the hotel, 4 out of 5 times not the case. Room: while we booked a room with sea view, a tree right outside our window blocked the view. When we arrived there was a dead bug on the windowsill, it was there when we left 4 days later. The doorknob was bent as if someone had tried to break into it. There is also a very painful and nearly unvisible step leading to the bathroom so you can proper hurt your toes, if not trip and hurt yourself more gravely. There was a small fridge in the room, it was unplugged, closed and smelt fishy upon arrival, not even a bottle of water for the guests. One day we got bedsheets with holes in them. Finally the room did not look like the one we booked via *********** Location: best thing about the hotel

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by friendly and attentive staff, who were ready to assist with any needs or requests. The hotel itself is quite charming, with a simple tasteful decor. The room was comfortable, clean, furnished with AC, and with a private balcony that offered an uninterrupted, panoramic view of the archipelago of La Maddalena. Waking up to this scenery and witnessing breathtaking sunsets were among the highlights of my stay. The breakfast was a delightful start to each day. The spread offered a variety of options, including freshly baked pastries and a selection of fruits. The hotel's proximity to the center of Palau and the harbor allows for easy access to restaurants, bars, shops, the ferry to La Maddalena and boat tours to other islands with crystal-clear waters and pristine beaches. In conclusion, this hotel offered a memorable experience, combining comfort and the natural beauty of Sardinia’s landscape in the most delightful way. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a magical getaway on this wonderful island.

Don’t know why this hotel has a 4 star rating to be honest . Basic in every way . We arrived and we’re given our room l- very small and not really laid out well bathroom was as big as the bed space . The window was small but had a nice view over the harbour . However you couldn’t sit and look out . The steps to the hotel were right outside and the curtain didn’t cover the entire window . The shower door was broken and the dirt under the rim was not something pleasant . We went back to the reception and mentioned it The man came and looked and said it was grand this morning and that we broke it We were told we could leave if we wanted to - however he did eventually give us another room and asked us to look at the shower see was it to our standard !!! It’s not a hotel t relax on really just for sleeping -unfortunately we had 3 nights here No pillow protectors on pillows No water or tea / coffee available Wouldn’t recommend it there are plenty of other hotels in the same area Do your research

!!!!!!Attention!!!!!!Alerte punaises de lit!!! Séjour cauchemardesque dans cet hotel qui ne vaut meme pas 1 étoile. La chambre était infestée par les punaises de lit et on en a trouvé plein la nuit autour de nos oreillers, des draps et aux murs. Résultat: Je me suis retrouvée dans un état pathétique avec 1000 boutons sur le corps, des brulures, des démangeaisons et un état psychique compliqué. ça nous a gaché le séjour qui, jusque là se passait bien. On était obligé de jeter nos valises, nos chaussures et plus que la moitié de nos affaires par peur de ramener les betes au nouvel hotel, qui nous a couté très cher vu que c'est réservé à la dernière minute. On a dépensé des centaines d'euros pour tout laver, racheter des valises et quoi porter pour rentrer, voir un médecin et les médicaments. Procès entamé pour dédommagement.

Hotel antiguo, aunque reformado. Para llegar a la recepción se deben subir unos 25 escalones. NO TIENEN ASCENSOR y todas las habitaciones están en el piso superior. En el balcón de nuestra habitación, había dos máquinas de aire acondicionado, que hacían mucho ruido. Las vistas son muy bonitas. El desayuno deja mucho que desear y cuesta 15€ por persona. Personal correcto.

Arrivati alle 22 di sera, scopriamo che non c’è alcun posto nel parcheggio coperto e che anche in strada è difficile parcheggiare. Veniamo accolti da una lunga scalinata, senza ascensore e senza l’aiuto di qualcuno dell’albergo per salire i bagagli. Stesso discorso all’interno dell’hotel, si sale al primo piano senza ascensore. Stanza è una bat caverna fredda e umida, abbiamo acceso il condizionatore per riscaldarla e riportarla ad una temperatura accettabile. Letto scomodo e bagno che emana una puzza insopportabile. Colazione scadente, tutto confezionato e cornetti congelati, nessun servizio.

Nous avons réservé 2 nuits a cet hôtel en juin. Suite a des problèmes avec Corsica ferries (bateau annulé)nous n'avons pas pu nous rendre en Sardaigne . Nous avons essayé de joindre l'hôtel pour les prévenir mais malheureusement pour nous ils étaient injoignables (PB de téléphone). Nous avons envoyé un mail à l hôtel et a Booking pour les prévenir mais ils n'ont pas pris en compte notre problème. Dès que nous avons pu joindre l'hôtel ils ont fais semblant de ne pas comprendre . Du coup ils ont encaissé les 2 nuits (500 euros) en nous disant que nous aurions dû les prévenir 2 jours avant notre arrivée.,.. Nous avons été volé car notre séjour a été annulé indépendant de notre volonté.

Non rispondono alle mail, né alle comunicazioni inviate tramite form del sito. L’unico modo per avere delle informazioni è il telefono. Neanche la conferma della prenotazione contiene le informazioni base. Unica cosa bella – peraltro, non per merito loro – è il panorama. Per il resto, camere piccole, con arredamento che sarà anche in stile sardo, ma è vecchio e poco funzionale. Non c’è un appendiabiti, i comodini (se così li vogliamo chiamare) sono distanti dal letto, piani d’appoggio sia in stanza che in bagno praticamente inesistenti. Colazione misera. Ho chiesto un asciugamano perché mancava e mi hanno risposto “domani”. Tutto questo per un prezzo decisamente alto. Ah, non c’è l’ascensore. E anche questo non è segnalato da nessuna parte. Sconsigliato.
