A last minute change in travel plan brought us to Domaine de l'Ocrerie for 3 nights in September. It was such an idyllic setting to come back to after long days exploring the Burgundy countryside. The beautifully decorated house offered a glimpse into the owners' passion for art and travels. We had the Pondicherie suite with lovely authentic Indian furniture and accents. Cathy and Gilles were charming hosts who treated us to insightful details of the domaine's history and their love for the art. All Cathy's recommendations for restaurants in the area were spot on. We ate very well :) Thank you Cathy and Gilles for welcoming us into your house. We hope to be back soon to Burgundy, and for sure to Domaine de L'Ocrerie!

It’s the art of noticing each and every single piece of the place (and there was a lot to discover from an art exhibition, great interior design, porcelain, delicious home made food etc.) which gives you an incredible peace immediately after entering the red gate! The hosts are pure gold and Cathy&Gilles made my stay an unforgettable experience which filled my heart with pure pleasure and joy! I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your very warm welcome, the lively and inspiring conversations and the incredible evening you prepared for my friends and me which will never be forgotten! Merci beaucoup and for sure it was not the last time I visited you!

We absolutely loved staying with Cathy and Gilles in their beautiful B&B in between Toucy and Auxerre (~10 mins to both). The room had been renovated and designed with modern amenities while keeping the old charm of this gorgeous building. If you love art you will love staying here. We happened to be staying when Gilles was having an art expo and received a personal tour of his work, which was a real treat. Cathy was amazing at helping us find and book restaurants in the area, and had endless recommendations for all kinds of activiites in the nearby towns. Breakfast was classic French with muesli, fresh fruit, breads and interesting jams, as well as lovely conversations. We will definitely be staying here again!

From first setting foot in this idyllic spot to waving goodbye to our welcoming hosts Cathy and Giles, we had a wonderful time. Set in expansive gardens, this tastefully converted house boasts exposed stone walls, high ceilings and wooden beams. The spacious interior has been thoughtfully decorated with the hosts’ personal touch reflecting their artistic background & their exotic travels to the East. We stayed in the charming ‘Pondicherie’ suite with its four poster bed & well equipped shower room. Preceded by a glass of kir & savory ‘gougères’, we had a memorable 4 course diner in the gardens accompanied by a local burgundy red. Each dish was beautifully presented. Breakfast was also very pleasing. Thank you Cathy and Giles

Deux nuits passées au domaine, qui est magnifique, bucolique et les propriétaires très accueillants dans une maison rénovée avec beaucoup de goût . Un dîner original et succulent. Nous ne pouvons que recommander le Domaine de l Ocrerie, calme et paisible.

Un accueil chaleureux et un dîner (végétarien) délicieux et très agréable. Nous avons pris plaisir à discuter avec Cathy et Gilles. Ils ont mis tellement de passion et d’attention à rénover et donner vie à cette maison à l’histoire étonnante ! Plus qu’un séjour c’est une véritable rencontre. Nous y retournerons aux beaux jours pour profiter encore plus du parc.

Un immense merci à Cathy et Gilles pout leur accueil chaleureux et délicat au domaine de l'ocrerie. Nous avons passé 3 jours formidables dans la suite Nuages avec nos 2 enfants. Les dîners et petits-déjeuners furent parfaits, aussi bons que beaux ! Le domaine est est vrai havre de paix à moins de 2h de Paris, déconnexion assurée ! La localisation est parfaite pour découvrir la Puisaye. Enfin, le lieu dégage un charme fou, où la nature et l'art s'allient merveilleusement, dans un calme très ressourçant ! Merci encore pour tout, et à très bientôt assurément. La famille Malik.

Un grand merci pour l'accueil et le moment de déconnexion. Nature, histoire, art, atmosphère, le lieu à tout pour plaire. Ne pas manquer la visite notamment de l'ocrerie. Une expérience qui mérite à être connue et qu'il faut prendre le temps d'apprécier.
