great hotel/hostel! unfortunately surrounded by homeless but lots of places to walk to

I managed to live in a hostel and it was normal, and clean enough, the service is excellent.

The hotel is amazing. It's very clean and chic. The bar abd rooftop lounge are an added bonus! There's a very cute drag bar right across the street. The only downside is that parking around here is tricky. DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING, AND I MEAN ANYTHING, IN YOUR CAR.

Its downtown china town. Super fun experience. Beautiful rooms. Helpful staff. I felt very pleased with our stay. But Im not everyone.

I originally had a reservation with a hotel chain nearby but they were so rude I cancelled and came here instead and wow am I glad I did! This is my new spot to stay in PDX. Everyone is so nice! It’s very clean too. I love the roof!

Property was clean has minimal amenities and had 3 drinks twice and were charged almost $300.00 - be aware here!

Didnt feel like a super safe area but the staff were very nice and friendly and the bunk room was clean and organised.

The inside of the hotel was ok. But there were a lot of homeless people hanging around. And there was a security issue going on inside the lobby when i arrived. It delayed my check-in, but the front deck offered me a free soda for having to wait.

The hotel is definitely a unique experience, I never stayed in a bunk but it was nice to try something different

Although the staff is typically very cool, helpful and accommodating, this stay is tainted by power crazy staff humiliating guests.

Pros I loved the high bunk beds. Staff are very nice and friendly and restrooms and dormitory was very clean. Cons No kitchen not even a microwave. What's the point of offering a fridge but nothing to heat up your food with. Dormitory area was at least 10 degrees colder than other areas such as lobby, cafe and reception area. I was told that temperature is controlled and must fit everybody not sure why the dormitory had to be colder than anywhere else lots of people were gathering. Lighting was also controlled so unless you woke up after 8am, you will not be able to see anything. I nearly scalded myself trying to make coffee in the dark. In the end I opened the fridge door and nearby restroom for light. Other people having to pack in the dark and bumping into things. No access to light is just ridiculous. This is a hostel trying not to be a hostel. If you have dorm rooms with bunk beds then you're a hostel therefore a kitchen must be provided...and lights at anytime would be good too.
