Very stylish hotel, which is a very nie surprising. I didn't expect that I would stay this kind of CITY HOTEL in PNG :) It is made from concrete (not wood) ! Security is good, shutter will be closed between main gate and reception desk.When I was out for scrolling market nearby, a staff of hotel followed (guided) me because they worried about a tourist. How nice. I had a single room. Very modern and hot water shower was so perfect. Equipment in room; iron, iron board,slippers, electric kettle,complimentary coffee&tea, safe, towel, AC, TV. Wifi is available but the more people use the slower the speed gets. Drinking water is equipped at each floor somewhere at corridor. You won't run out of drinking water. here is lift in the hotel. There is dining space ( or it is bar) on roof top area, it is nice area. You can enjoy the view from there. It is 5 or 6th floor, not so high, though. They have pick up service from airport. As i just got in the car, I am not sure how far the location is from airport but it looks rather close.

Due to a flight cancellation, Air Niugini arranged for us to be accommodated at the Citi boutique Hotel. the name had us a little worried, thinking it would be some small hotel in Port Moresby. What a pleasant surprise, when we arrived via their mini bus. A large modern hotel with a very secure ground level entrance. the staff were very professional and the rooms were clean, modern and well presented. A good shower with hot water and lots of pressure. We ate in the restaurant, a limited selection due to the hour of our arrival, but large portions and an excellent meal. The bar area had good views with large open window and a nice breeze in the evenings. Upstairs is the smoking area. We wanted to visit the Cultural Centre which has a good collection of WW2 artifacts. The reception staff organised a taxi and provided one of their security guards to accompany us. The staff at this hotel made our unexpected stay a real pleasure.

We had a drink on the roof top bar, great view over the market, and rugby field. Staff member Peter was super friendly! Great atmosphere! We didn't stay at the hotel, we stayed at their apartments, very clean and comfortable. Would recommend if you're staying at PM.

I was sent here because I was bumped off of a flight, and I have had a very pleasant experience. The food is excellent and plated beautifully, and the accommodations are simple but clean and comfortable. The rooftop patio is a wonderful place to hang out. My only complaint is that the music there is way too loud and not to my taste. All staff are super friendly, introduce themselves, and are happy to go above and beyond to show me around. Thanks for a great stay!

Quite nice rooms with very friendly people! And the food was delicious with generous portions! The hotel was provided by the air Niugini because it was overbooked. So they gave us this hotel. The chef is an Australian chef with quite an experience and he cooks delicious food!

Despite 18 years of travel to PNG, this was my first stay at this hotel because all my usual hotels were taken over by APEC visitors. After 2 days I was inclined to give this hotel a blast, but it fits a niche I suppose, just not mine. I had 2 meals - breakfast and dinner which were terrible so I ate for the period of my stay at the Aviat, Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza and various restaurants in Vision City - the benefits of having a car and know POM. The rooms are clean, and well put together with no frills at all - no pictures on the wall as stark as monk's cell, the bathroom is functional - good shower, no amenities to speak off - a tiny piece of soap, a tiny bottle of shampoo - so i went out an bought my own. Bed is OK, aircon is a basic split sytem. Room servicing is good, towels are good, and there are black out blinds on the windows because of the lights at the next door football stadium which burn brightly all night. It would be hellish if there was a game on, Down the road is a very large traditional market with a lot of traffic movement but not so much noise. The hotel overall is just OK but I suppose it depends on budget, and maybe quite fine for a short stay. I bought my own breakfast cereal and juice since there is no breakfast buffet, so food is like a country town of 1970. Would I stay again? No, but I travel on business, but others with a tighter budget may find it meets their needs OK. The architecture is very odd and unconventional and more like a provincial motel than a hotel; very much like a Japanese hotel in the provinces. There are better places to stay for me.
