Wonderfull! John is the best host and everything is comfortable and clean. Near Plettenberg centre and coast. Perfect swimmingpool and really nice garden. You can visit lots of places of interest wich are al nearby. John wil tell you all about it!

Thanks to John and Annie for trying their best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. John gave us good suggestions on places to see. The view is amazing and the gardens and pool is beautiful. The only negative was the room where the bedding and bathroom could be upgraded for the rooms that we booked.

What a pleausure to stay in this lodge! We had a beautiful room with a nice terrace with two chairs to relax. The view into the valley and the nice garden are stunning. The view is amazing from the valley, the rooms have everything you need and the breakfast was a perfect start of the day. What to say.. where to start.. Well Plettenbarg Bay seemed to us like one of the pearls of our Garden Route trip through South Africa. You have the beach, and the great Nature Reserve Robberg Bay. You can go visit Nature Parks, hiking, relax, do all sort of (water) sports.. The residence is stunning, a view to the beach (5 min away by car) and big garden with a beautiful pool. Well the owner John he is one of the most heartful persons we have ever met. He gives tips what places you should visit in Plett, which restaurants he would recommend and also arranges a surf lesson in the morning starting two hours later - thanks again for this. Leaving John and this Guest House felt almost as saying goodbye to family. His staff is incredible especially Poppy, which served ous at breakfas. Thank you so much for the time we could spend with you, we will see you again.
