Labranda Marieta & Spa - Adults Only

The staff are very friendly but unfortunately the hotel is definitely not the 4 stars it claims to be. The bed/matresses are not 4 star quality, no amenities in the bathroom and very poor sound proofing (could hear conversations in room next door even with all doors/windows closed). We stayed on an all inclusive basis and found the food selection to be very similar for the entire duration of our stay lacking variation. Lastly, the evening entertainment will need to be improved. While this is not of great importance to us, I know that this is an important factor for many people seeking these types of accomodation/vacation.

An okay hotel but services are not amazing. Sea view rooms on the other side are good. If you are to change your room even in the same category as per the company’s policy they will change extras.

I sadly flew home on Thursday evening after a fabulous two weeks at this fantastic hotel. From arrival to leaving, this hotel was excellent. Jenny at Reception gave us a very warm welcome to our first stay and went above and beyond throughout our stay - she is a real asset to Labranda Marieta. Speaking of assets, Desiree… Where do I begin? If this hotel had a face… Desiree would definitely be the face of the Marieta. She is an all rounder, nothing is a bother for her and she is a CLASS ACT!! The staff overall are great, from Rachel, Christobal, Maria, Juan to Antonio and so many others to mention, they’re all a credit to the hotel. The food is great, the rooms are excellent, everywhere is extremely clean. Our favourite area to sunbathe was on the Rooftop, it’s modern, very relaxing and peaceful. The only downside to this hotel is the entertainment and the seats by the Marieta Lounge. It would be great if they had live music events at night on the stage outside and have more comfortable seating inside. We have booked for 2025, so we will see you all next year for more fun, laughter and continuing making memories!

We arrived in 30 min from the airport to the hotel. We stayed 10 days all inclusive. The hotel is very beautiful and clean. The best thing about this hotel is the roof top. It has a pool, a bar and beautiful view over the sea and mountains. The food is very good, the dinner changes every day. The waiters are very friendly. The area is very nice too. Nice to walk/bike to the centre and the dunes. Loved our stay here!

This was our first stay at Labranda Marieta but second holiday to the Playa Del Ingles/ Maspalomas area of Gran Canaria. My general thoughts are that the hotel is so quiet which was lovely for us! It is so chilled. Reception/ Hotel We were greeted by a lovely member of staff (Fernando I think it is) and our room was ready upon arrival and this was before the check in time it stated. Everything was explained thoroughly to us and you get given a piece of paper with all the details you need which include timings for everything. Hotel lobby and areas are clean and tidy. Modern looking reception but the corridors leading to the rooms look a bit tired compared to other areas. You get free WiFi access in the hotel but this is only good around the pool areas. It is absolutely rubbish anywhere else. This was something that was a bit annoying. Late checkout is available for €30 and above but this is subject to availability. Unfortunately, we couldn’t get a late checkout but a courtesy room was offered instead. Room Our room was tidy and clean. There is room turn down daily by the cleaning staff which I cannot fault, they work super hard. The bathrooms are all to the front of the room as they have a window to the outdoor corridor for ventilation, however, the rooms could do with some more TLC but nothing major. My only gripe with the rooms is the drains can get a little smelly in the morning and the bathroom could be bigger. Our room was the side which faces the road and this couldn’t be heard once you shut the room doors fully. To get a sea view, you have to pay extra per night once at the hotel. Pool There are 2 pool areas at the hotel. Both are tidy and quiet. There is no rush for sun beds and throughout the day there were still plenty of sun beds available. The pool opens at 10 so there is no one around the pool at all until about quarter to/ten to 10. We thought this was great as we’ve been to hotels previously where they state opening times but people are up early to reserve sun beds. This wasn’t the case here which we really appreciated. Both pool areas are calm and quiet. On the rooftop terrace the pools aren’t deep, they are useful for just sitting in. We preferred this area to the pool as it was quieter and the sun beds were more spaced out. Food and drink There was so much choice with food. Some food repeated daily and some of it changed daily which was a nice touch. There is plenty of space around the food and seating area in the restaurant. The coffee from the coffee machines was better than I anticipated! The only thing I would say about the food is the allergy display was a little inconsistent. I am gluten free and there were foods which said it was gluten free, foods which displayed a gluten or wheat on it but then some which didn’t have either so I wasn’t sure what I could and couldn’t have! I think if you are in the same position as myself, asking a member of staff wouldn’t go a miss. I noticed a gluten free section at breakfa

An amazing hotel, wonderful people working here, glad to help and always with a smile on their face, The facilities with their spa, rooftop bar, pools both on the rooftop and at ground floor. Food variety everyday. 3 different bars and always something happening during night. Shoes and performance. Why no 5 out of 5.. the WiFi wast not getting to My room! Only bad thing to say! Other than that. I’ll recommend this always! Hasta la próxima Marieta hotel. See you again!

Very friendly welcome on arrival, restaurant kept open late with a small buffet on offer. The room was clean and cleaned daily with towel changes, for a small deposit you could get pool towels from reception. Cannot comment on entertainment as I went out on a night. Nice walk to the yumbo centre, close to the beach it really did have everything. Thank you for having me!

What a perfect hotel… spotlessly clean throughout with wonderful room. The food and staff service was excellent especially the pool aerobics sessions with the beautiful entertainment ladies in charge. The pool was perfect with plenty of space and tranquility.
