Was at this resort 7 years ago. Is nothing like it used to be. Very disappointed. If you still can cancel and go else where. Dont waste your money here.

Lines, lines everywhere lines. 2 hours just to check in. Only had 2 people at front desk, but there were 8 people at guest services doing nothing. Stayed 5 days and was unable to get a reservation at any restaurants, the entire time. Had to go to one of the 2 buffets for every meal. Food was fine but had to wait in a line for 20 minutes just to get eggs in the morning. At dinner the line was just as big to get tacos. Every bar line at least 15 minutes long or longer. Stayed at this resort 10 years ago and it was one of my family’s best memories, service was great and no issues. So disappointed this time, we will never go back. The resort has gotten so big that the staff can not keep up with the amount of people staying there. We could not even do any activities that they had because you needed a reservation to do anything, this was not stated anywhere. tried to make reservations the second day there, but everything was booked up the entire time we were there. Talk about frustrating. Thanks to Diego who allowed my oldest daughter and her boyfriend to do the swim the same day because he wasn’t fully booked and they tagged along with another family. went to sister resort for $100 round trip transport for 6, much better there. We are by no means picky, we usually go camping, so are standards are not high, but i can’t recommend this resort. Too many issues, sad

Rooms not as advertised at all, dining is restricted as you must make reservations to most restaurants which is extremely hard to do with the system the resort uses, check in takes way too long. However, the outdoor area of the resort is beautiful and there are a lot of activities to do.

The property itself is neat because it looks like it’s been placed in the centre of a jungle with lots of vegetation cute little bridges over mangroves and a lot of animals. My room was nice and clean. I feel that I was in one of the newer areas of the resort, my kids loved the bunkbeds. The food was terrible. All four of my family members got food poisoning. I was very disappointed that there was no pico de gallo at this resort or guacamole. When I ordered guacamole, I got puréed avocado I’ve never been to a Mexican resort that didn’t have pico de gallo and guacamole with chips for their guests to enjoy , there was no pasta station which really disappointed my son that’s one of his favourite things of Mexican resorts. The water in the pools was filthy and I never saw anyone cleaning it. The pools are too small for the size of resort that they have so they are packed and there was only one bartender manning the swim up bar, causing us to have to stand in line for a long times to get a drink , it looks to me as the resort rooms but not amenities entertainment was excellent and the activity staff were excellent. The beach was horrible. Probably the worst speech I have ever seen in Mexico and I have been too many resorts. It is so rocky that you cannot even walk on it with water shoes I do not recommend this resort

Compared to the last time I was there, two years ago, it has deteriorated. Dining hours are more limited and unusual - i.e. lunch at buffet not opening until 12:30 PM. Virtually all staff in buffet seemed unhappy - no smiles nor good service.

The food at the resort was terrible! Hardly any kid friendly option's. The buffets and snack bars hardly had options at all, the Brazilian restaurant and templo were wonderful but only had limited reservations as for the other restaurant there was no available bookings for the 7 days we were there. The room was ok but the tv didn’t work and new one they brought in had issues the shower didn’t drain properly, the bunk bed made a lot of noise and several light fixtures were broken or falling off the wall. No cold water in the fridge or option for ice machine anywhere. Most of the staff don’t speak any English even the servers. There was no shuttle services so for anyone who has mobility issues I don’t recommend as there is a lot of walking. The good things: bunk bed in the room for the kids, hair braiding stations, the wild life, jet ski and parasailing, room service. I wouldn’t recommend and we won’t be back.

This is the first time ive ever been to a resort where they make you feel like they literally do not care... at all... about anything... nothing like it looks on line and you will spend your time there starving.
I wouldnt send my enemy there. They take a lot of your money to make your stay so terrible. I cried a lot. You will too.

I felt that there was limited snacking and dining options. Very hard to make reservations for dining. Long lines for the buffet. They shut down for 1.5 hours so no options for food. Room service never answers the phone. Staff are polite but not helpful. The jungle is very nice but the resort and amenities are not great. It’s getting run down. The tennis court and pickleball are very nice. The nightly entertainment is limited.
