Hotel di Stefano

Meh - not sure why this hotel was rated so highly. It’s fairly basic, location is good and handy for the tower, eating and shopping. The bedroom was functional, though showers were good. Wifi was poor, kept cutting out (I wasn’t streaming videos). I made a mistake and booked a single instead of a double but I paid an extra €20 for the extra person. Had to ask for extra towels and pillows as there was only one of each. The bathroom had no toiletries so had to ask for shampoo too.

Excellent séjour dans cet hôtel: personnel très serviable. Emplacement parfait. Le petit déjeuner manque un peu de produits frais: jus d’orange frais, légumes, oeufs. Calme et propre nous recommandons cet hôtel.

Un décor qui met dans l’ambiance de l’Italie : hall chambre salle de restaurant … on est dans un autre monde !un esprit vacances super appréciable ! Chambre spacieuse et confortable avec une salle de bain pratique et agréable ! Petit-déjeuner varié avec des produits de qualité (hormis le jus d’orange industriel …) dans une superbe salle ! L’accueil du personnel est top : font l’effort de parler français, donne des conseils et nous ont même servi un café un soir (flemme de ressortir sous la pluie) On recommande et on y retournera !

We stayed in this hotel on our trip hotel friendly room was lovely they also catered for gluten free breakfast place was spotless and quiet enjoyed my stay there I do recommend you go to this hotel very traditional not far from tower etc the gluten free option for breakfast was excellent

What a great hotel- perfect location and such a lovely set of people who run it. Nothing is too much for them, and I would definitely recommend. The roof terrace is a great bonus, with amazing views of the tower, we sat there one afternoon in the sun and it was lovely.

Check in was good and our room requests were met however we were offered a terrace room instead, so we took that. The hotel is mostly clean but when we spilt a drink and cleaned it up the cloth came up black. The hotel is quiet, but if guests above are noisy you will hear them. There is enough space for two 60 L bags of luggage in the room, but tight. The bed and pillows are comfortable and the room is equipped with a heater / A.C. unit which is mostly quiet. Our room had a desk, fridge below, and a small chair. The bathroom was functional and clean, however the shower is cramped. Breakfast included croissants, buns, bread, fresh clements, bananas, apples, yogurt, cheese, cereals, jams and sliced meat. The coffee was poor in comparison to the other places we have stayed in Italy over the month. The juice was watery. The breakfast room is in part of an old Roman tower making it a beautiful spot. In comparison to other places in Italy we stayed the breakfast is so…so. Watch the wooden swinging doors with backpacks and luggage as they will swing HARD & FAST!!!!! Allow the person ahead to go through not following behind. The hotel should remove these as they also have a glass door. This hotel is close to the leaning tower and many ristorantes. It is also close to a good mini-mart and a PAM Supermarket. The hotel has a beautiful rooftop terrace that is accessed from the elevator behind the desk (not the elevator by the breakfast room) and then stairs from the 3rd to the 4th floor. WIFI is OK to terrible, so I gave up and used my Vodafone data plan on my mobile as a hotspot.

Our stay was great. Staff was excellent. Place is within 5 mins walk to Pisa tower. Will recommend. Breakfast is included but has limited option
