The hotel is at a good location, staff is friendly, room is clean and cosy. The hotel provide pick-up service from the train station, 2 ways, just need to let them know earlier so they can arrange.

The bathroom is a bit old but in an acceptable way. Very friendly service, which is above my expectations.

One of the best stay experience in China. The location is at the center of the old City. Close to many tourist attractions and the busy south street. The hotel rooms are just IN the traditional Shanxi luxury mansion. Very unique experience. But what makes the stay one of the best is the butler service. From the pre-arrival arrangement, post-arrival introduction of the old house, to the patient and warm service to our inquiries and requests, Juan’Er makes the stay really enjoyable.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The location is central. We enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay! The hotel is constituted with two glorious classical residences from Ming/Qing Dynasties, with rich and gorgeous original architectural details to wow any visitor. The front desk manager, Ms. Ah Fen was very kind and helpful. My host and contact, Miss Juan Er, was brilliant at all front, and also an extremely impressive tour guide on the history and trivials of the houses and their original occupiants. Wonderful experience!

We spent a wonderful night at Yunjincheng for our honey moon, the hotel is perfectly located in the Main Street, but very calm. The team was nice and helpful, especially Juaner. The suite was comfortable and well decorated. Great breakfast too! Thank you for welcoming us!

The courtyards and the buildings are just breathtaking, it feels like sleeping in a palace. The staff has been very welcoming and helped me with every need, especially purchasing tickets online even without a Chinese mobile phone. Can’t wait to come back!

This is our second stay at this hotel. The reason is that we had a very nice time for our first visit 4 years ago. This time it was as nice as before or even much nicer! Kind and efficient staff, traditional chinese style building and room, delicious breakfast, clean room, everything was so nice. I definitely recommend this hotel. We are sure we will visit this hotel again.

Great location and traditional hotel feel in Middle of ancient town adds to the experience of a hotel that makes you feel like imperial guests. Staff were brilliant and catering to our every need. Silky smooth experience greeted at train station with transport to hotel. Nothing to worry about.

Very good location. Especially the staff 娟儿，very nice lady. From picking us up at the train station to the hotel. Helping us to book activities at Pingyao and also assisting us with our transportation. Highly recommended and definitely will visit this hotel again!
