Beautiful family run hotel with kind and helpful staff. They even dropped us for our train early in the morning. Good location for the main attractions.

OMG #besthotelever!!! We felt like a Ming dinasty princesses (and we actually were 💅). The hotel staff was so nice they gave us a free room upgrade to the most luxurious one and gave us a free ride from inside the town to the train station (mind that inside the ancient town normal taxies or didi can not enter). The building in general is very traditional and charming in a small alley far away from the crowds (very cutesty very demure) If you're young and beautiful and want to feel like Paris Hilton in the 00's you should definetly rent traditional hanfu female clothing (*but to pull it off you must have the queer slay if not desist). Trust me everyone in the city will want to take a picture with you and they'll get in line.

I could not give this place more compliments for welcoming us to their home. They made us feel so comfortable and the experience in this inn is authentic as it is indeed a traditional court house. It’s very quiet, toilet is spotless, the room is large and warm and very traditional. What I like the most is how hospitable the owner is. The lady and her son are very generous and attentive and helped us so much in our 2 nights stay. It’s quality!

Really nice family hotel in traditionnal style. The owners were really kind and helpfull :) We get a free room upgrade, they laundry our clothes for free and purpose us to drop us off at the train station ! They were always smiling and it was a pleasure to rest at hotel after visiting this great preserved city. The ratio quality/price is unbeatten !

We stayed in the Kang style bed and it was very comfortable, the location is very convenient as it is close to the main streets but not very loud at night. The family who runs this hotel are so kind and helpful, They picked us up at the station and when we needed to go into town they drove us around and helped us, so kind. 10/10 would reccomend!!

This is the best hotel room ever especially covered with ancient artifacts and the place is situated inside the street. The staffs are very friendly and caring too. Highly recommended.

We had an excellent stay experience. The worker from hotel came to pick up at the gate of the old village, and explained everything clearly. The hotel situated just 3 minutes walking from Main Street. The room is overall clean which corresponds to the offered rate. Highly recommended

The Zhang family are very hospitable. I had a wonderful time checking out the 'Pingyao Again' show, which I believe is the best experience to have to understand history, culture of Pingyao and how it evolves over generations.

Family runs accommodation. They picked me up and dropped off at the front gate. Cheng (his son) was very helpful and planned my 1 day “must see” sights in the city. He can speak English a little bit which helps a lot. Location was good and quiet. Highly recommend

Such a warm welcome in this little and very family friendly hotel. The children had a great time playing in the courtyard and making new friends! The hotel manager and all the staff were helpful beyond what we expected. I'll recommend it without hesitation
