Happy Cottage remains one of the 'go-to' places for my wife & I to stay at whilst in Phuket. The location on Soi Ta-Iad, near Chalong means that it's central for heading off to the beaches on the west coast, the bays on the southern end or Phuket Town to the east. Everywhere is within a short ride away. The accommodation provides everything you actually need for a Thailand vacation, and is simple and inexpensive. Neung and the rest of the staff there are very friendly and helpful.

Happy Cottage is a beautiful, peaceful place to stay. Hasn't changed in the ten years since I was there last. Super clean, lovely staff and super helpful with all the travel arrangements COVID has imposed. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Stayed here as part of the Thai Sandbox scheme. Nice little hotel with decent bungalows. The accommodation was comfy with everything we needed for the five days we stayed here. The hotel is set back from the road so is nice and peaceful (apart from some rather vocal chickens nearby).Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Lots of people training for Muay Thai boxing at gyms along the street, which was interesting to watch (though chose not to participate!)
