Ulasan Mandala Cham Bay Mui Ne

We were looking forward to visiting Mui Ne at the end of our month long vacation in Vietnam. What a disappointment this place is. Supposed 5 star hotel that is 5 star look , but a 2 star operation. I booked a kitchenette so I could have my own breakfast and a few meals cooked from local purchases. ( My partner was born in Halong Bay). Mandala is about 50 km from Mui Ne. When we got to our room, We were going to heat up a little snack we picked up in Dalat. No kitchen ware at all. My partner called to ask about this, and they told her no cooking in the room. After talking to the manager, he relented and sent up a bowl, spoons, chopsticks, and a small pot. Then we find out that to use the pools they advertise, we have to pay 50,000 Dong each per day. Breakfast is average Vietnamese fare with a huge price tag of 350,000 per person. Supper is 550,000 per person. I don't know the price of lunch. We experienced no hot water for showers. We phoned a cab and went into Mui Ne. That is 700,000 Dong return. I did not realize that Mandala is so far from the city. We were trapped in a place with poor service and exorbitant prices. There are many nice hotels in Mui Ne, and I recommend using them. The beach is fantastic. Six escalators to get from hotel to reception area, then a short walk over the road to the beach. No towels are provided for the beach.
