RRenee LeeThe location is great as we’re surrounded by restaurants and minutes’ walk to the vibrant city. We selected a room with an Acropolis view but it’s really just a tiny glimpse of the Acropolis in between buildings. The balcony was not very clean so we didn’t stay out much but the room was clean enough. Thanks for complimentary bottle of wine 🍷 for our honeymoon but too bad we don’t drink 😅 Some local desserts would be nice 😊

LLimBoonHuiI stayed at Delice Hotel and had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel is located very close to Evangelismos Metro Line 3 station. Although you have to walk through a park in the direction toward the hotel, which may feel a bit confusing at first, it’s actually a short and convenient walk. I arrived around 10 AM, and the hotel kindly allowed me to check in early. The room was spacious and very clean. While the hotel is not modern, it has the charm of a classic European family-run hotel. The elevator is a bit unique in design, adding to the character of the place. The lobby has a vending machine with snacks and drinks, and there are two nice restaurants right next door. On the opposite side of the hotel, there are several bakeries that looked great—though some were closed because it was a Sunday. The man on duty at the front desk in the morning was especially friendly and polite — definitely worth mentioning and appreciating. Overall, it was a very good stay. The only downside was the soundproofing, which could be improved, but it didn’t bother me too much.

AAlison’s Silk Road TravelsI booked a single room and it was larger than expected and the bathroom had a bath. I was on the 9th floor. The room had a city view which was unexpected. There was air conditioning, a kettle a fridge and plenty of space for luggage. There was no coffee available only T. So I bought my own. There was a range of shower wash and body cream. The soap was olive oil soap and very nice. The water in the fridge was not complimentary and I had to pay for it when I checked out. I didn’t book breakfast. It was quite noisy at times on Floor 9 with screaming children and young men congregating chatting and being loud. The bed was extremely comfortable and I slept very well in it. The plug sockets were not near the bed. The pool at the top was brilliant but it was very busy. The views were spectacular and the food in the bar was very good. The staff in the bar were very kind. The hotel is very well situated near train stations but walking is much more interesting! There are some great shops and markets in the area and museums are not far away. It takes about 20 mins to walk into the centre if you enjoy your walk. I recommend junk shops on the walk to the Acropolis.

PPuay Teck OngThe exterior of the hotel look inviting; however when we walked through the front door you can feel the heavy curtain around the lobby have not been clean for long time. All the sofa in the lobby are covered with some sort of clothes I guess it is to cover the old and uninviting sight. The check in process was straight forward and friendly. None of the light on the stairs are working and I had to use the flash light on my phone to light a path up and down the stairs, could be dangerous if you need to evacuate the hotel quickly. The room door has key card slot but I guess it is broken as I needed a physical key to unlock the room door and a keycard to turn on the electricity, the room size is good and high ceiling. The bathroom has no hook for the handheld shower head so not so convenient to have a shower, the water also not always hot enough. The air conditioner was blowing warm air even though the dial was set to cold and it made the room so more warmer and uncomfortable to sleep. The hotel reviews seem to suggest this is one of the common issue people has been complaining about for more than 10 years!!!! I ended up open all the windows to cool the room down and this invited traffic noise all night long. The hotel has been neglected for way too many years and surprisingly still in business????
