The most unexpected surprise of this trip is this homestay that exceeds all expectations. From the drinking water to the detailed amenities, every aspect exudes an exquisite sense of luxury, turning the accommodation itself into a delight. Sit on the balcony in the early morning or evening, let the wind of Zhaoxing Dong Village brush through your hair, and listen to the melodious Lusheng (a traditional Chinese wind instrument) played by the villagers in the distance. The troubles accumulated in the city seem to be quietly blown away by this gentle atmosphere.

The Creekside Inn has modern, elegantly designed rooms (I can’t emphasize that enough), a very good location with beautiful views, and a friendly, capable staff, that truly goes out of its way to be helpful— all of this at quite favorable prices. The water is hot and the bed is heated for winter in the mountains. I stayed four days, and would’ve stayed longer had I had time, just because I felt so wonderfully at home there. I left with plans to return with my wife next year. English spoken. Oh，and I got a splendid breakfast tailored to my individual dietary requirements! I have visited 35 countries and traveled all over China, and I have never been happier with my accommodations anywhere!

I came many times in this hotel, his location near the gate and beside the park is very quiet. No noise, no car. The staff don’t speak English but is really helpful and friendly. Hotel can provide tickets for the attractions at lower price, just ask them. Also they will tell you the best places to visit in the village. Breakfast is only local noddles but I found them delicious. Of course, if you have car, you need to park at the gate of the village and take a shuttle bus. This is mandatory. No tourist cars in the village. Hundred of restaurants in the village, so no problem for this.
