Good points: Staff were all exceptional - everyone was lovely and helpful and extremely patient. We particularly liked how Nicoletta treated us throughout our stay. All staff were so kind and friendly. Early check in - we were so grateful at being allowed to check in early and to be given water and tea while waiting for a room. Late check out - we were very happy to be allowed to check out at 13:05 (Anastasia gave us an extra 5 minutes!). Rooms: Size was really good and kept very clean. Developmental points: Breakfast: we found the food didn't have any variation throughout our stay and the quality of it wasn't what we had expected for a 5 star hotel - we were really disappointed. My daughter would only eat white bread (if it was available) so we'd resort to visiting another cafe for breakfast later in the morning. Rooms: Although the size of rooms was great, the rooms were very tired and in no way represented a 5-star stay. Shower room was unsatisfactory (difficult to get hot water, for example), soundproofing was poor, despite asking 3 times, room lighting was only partially fixed. Noise: On the first night, we really struggled to sleep due to poor soundproofing due to the room being connecting to another room. Thankfully Anastasia addressed this and we moved to another room which was a little better. Late check out: We would have been more appreciative for a later check out or at least adequate facilities to allow a shower etc - the outdoor shower doesn't work properly and is not 5 star standard for guests to use while changing. So, overall, I was disappointed with the stay, although happy to meet some lovely people who work there.
