Camelia Prestige - Place de la Nation

We had 2 rooms booked for 5 nights, from the moment we arrived, the people were rude, not helpful, you have to hand your key in every time you leave and never know if anybody goes in your room. There is no lift, no safe, the stairs are spiral and we were placed on the 5th floor, so very hard with suitcases, as nobody to help you. No fans or air conditioning and windows only open an inch, so no air. The rooms were so tiny, nowhere for your cases, had to move the bed every night to get into it. The bathrooms are so tiny that when you sit on the toilet, your feet are in the shower. The shower, the tap opens upwards, so if you weigh any more than 60kg, you are bound to knock the tap several times, getting burnt or cold water. Location was the only bonus as close to metro, but the cafes near by, only seem to serve beer, wine, pizza and cheese. We won't be back.

Au vue du prix, je m'attendais à moins bien. Chambres propres, fonctionnelles avec une réception ouverte h24. Pas d'ascenseur, mais emplacement idéal car à deux pas de l'arrêt de métro' Nation ! Un hôtel 2 étoiles parisien vraiment correct.

Un hôtel bien sympathique et extrêmement bien placé ! Si vous avez envie de passer quelques jours au cœur de paris avec accès a absolument tout, n'hésitez pas, choisissez le Camélia. Nous avons eu le bonheur d'avoir une chambre avec une baignoire, une vue intéressante sur une grande rue parisienne, nous reviendrons, c'est certain. Un gros plus pour le petit-déjeuner, avec les pancakes maison fait devant nous, vraiment délicieux avec une pointe de fleur d'oranger. Vous avez accès à tout, y compris à une supérette ouverte 24/24h 7/7j, des bars, des restaurants au pied de l'hôtels.
