Ulasan Hôtel de l'Europe

It was a terrible experience in Paris. When we arrived at this hotel after a long bus ride, we were given a cold room that smelled like a dead rat. There were no amenities in the room. There was no heating, although it was freezing outside. The windows were open. Probably they wanted to drown out the stench this way. We went up a narrow staircase with large suitcases to the 3rd floor, there was no space to even turn around on this landing. When we asked to change the room, the reception manager gave us another room with the same conditions. When we asked for a refund, since my 60-year-old mother was with me, where it would be completely uncomfortable for her to live for 5 days in a cold room, especially with such a stench, the manager categorically refused. He said that the boss was deciding on such a refund, who he did not want to disturb, since his boss might be angry at the early call. It was 7 am. We arrived tired all night after a 12-hour bus ride. Unfortunately, we were not refunded the 480 dollars and had to search for another hotel on foot, with suitcases, in the cold. I cannot understand such personnel and such an attitude towards guests of such a developed city in Europe. After this incident, we were left with a very unfavorable aftertaste of Paris. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

Had a great experience here well located only 25 minutes from the centre

friendly and helpful owner and staff! shower door wasnt tight so was a bit leaky, and check in took a while due to a small issue with housekeeping but otherwise great stay!

The hotel was located close to the Brochant metro which made it easy for us to get around. Then the room was cleaned every day.

The hotel was good.

Super basic and affordable hotel for the rugby. Had to request towels and they provide no bathroom items otherwise. Shower was pretty weak and lots of small things in the room were broken. Also had no AC though room manages to stay relatively cool.

Attention!! You shouldn’t reserve this hotel!! They’re thief. They tried me to payed 28.8€ tax just for one night, and then finally they forced me to pay 5.76€, actually it was 2.88€. First I noticed I payed 28.8€ and asked what is for as I had payed for the stay. They just said “oh it’s for the tax.”, so I claimed that it’s mustn’t be. They didn’t apologize, as a French custom, because it’s just co-worker’s fault. They only payed back 23.03€, not 25.92, because it’s a bed for 2 person, but only I stayed there. Moreover there were no toilet paper, some hair on the wall & in the bed when I went in the room. Pity hotel.

The hotel had poor standard, the decor was worn and old, but nice price and clean. It was closed to subway, and not to far for walking to attraktions. Some of the staff spoke French rather than English, so communication was difficult. Ordered continental breakfast when booking the hotel, but wanted gluten-free. Tried to get in contact with the hotel several times via email and explain, but they newer answered. When we arrived they couldn’t help us, so had to go to the grocery store and buy my own breakfast, without compensation.

My towels have not been changed despite being wet on the floor. Neither the bathroom mat whihc was very wet. Toilets flushing into the shower...

Overall is not good

I took two double rooms for two of us and they prepared only one. The light of the washroom was broken, it didn't work. The room was on the 4th floor and they had a really terrible staircase. The person at the reception was quite polite. All in all, we gave around 180€ for 1 night and two rooms, it wasn't worth the money.

Room not same as described, Window was almost falling off as it was hanging on 1 hinge only instead of 3. shower not working properly and no pressure on water coming. Lots of noise late night and early morning. I wouldn’t recommend it to nobody, We had very bad experience

It small, but good for the price.

All, ok. Room cleaning every day. Room small, but for that price it’s great.
