Vintage Paris Gare du Nord by Hiphophostels

Biggest positive is the location, 5 min from Garde du Nord Train Station, neighbourhood is nice too, you can walk to all of the attractions.  Super tiny room, especially the shower room is basically a capsule. If you are a big person (wide&tall), you may not if even fit there. Hotel and especially rooms are extremely worn and in bad condition, very poorly-maintained. Rooms are super noisy and streets are also noisy during the day, didn't sleep well at all.

酒店建築頗舊，但地理位置不錯，距離火車站步行7分鐘即可到達，附近有很多餐廳，也有小超市。房間基本設施齊全，空間佈局合理，櫃枱工作人員友善。

Booked for proximity to Gare du Nord, less than ten minute walk. A small hotel but had everything we needed. Friendly reception staff, very helpful in getting my forgotten jacket home to me ! Also convenient for a walk to Monmarte and Sacre Cour.

I arrived in Paris without a hotel booking. I had hoped to book on the train over from the UK but the Wi-Fi was not up to it. So this was an off the street booking. From the start I was struck by how helpful and friendly the staff are. This continued throughout my stay. I was assisted by many members of the team and there is a good team spirit in the hotel. My room was a good size and there was a comfortable bed and a nice en suite. The room was perhaps a little stark and the ceiling of the bathroom needs a little touch up decor, but this was a hotel that was offering very good value for money compared to other alternatives nearby. The hotel does not offer breakfast but it has a pleasant seating area with a coffee machine and coffee was free up to I think 11 o'clock in the morning . There were little tokens that you put into a slot in order to get the coffee. The hotel are very happy for you to gather together some breakfast fare from the nearby bakeries and so forth and partake of this in the seating area. The hotel is close to both Gare du Nord and Montmartre. The Metro Station Anvers is even more nearby. It was a short walk from the hotel and I discovered on my last day that there was an even shorter walk if I taken a different road. For me this was a very good metro line and I was able to see many places I wanted to go to in a few days without any, or too many, line changes. I rather like seeing cities in this way, by seeking to make the most of tube lines or tram lines that are close to where I am staying. While I remember I would recommend a repairs and alteration shop called M'Apostrophe which is nearby. There was a very charming seamstress there who helped me when I was lost. There were some very chic dresses on a hanger that I assume belonged to local Parisians. I understand that the seamstress is very well thought of and so if one was to have a wardrobe malfunction whilst in Paris I think this would be the ideal place to put things right. I really enjoyed my few days in Paris and I'm grateful to the team at the Vintage hotel who looked after me very well.

Keine Ahnung, welches der Zimmer so aussieht, wie auf den meisten Fotos hier, aber unseres nicht. Wir wohnten 3 Nächte im Zimmer 406. Zuerst das Positive: die Lage hat uns gut gefallen, max. 10 Minuten zu einer der umliegenden Metro Stationen. 15 Min bis Monmatre, drumherum viele Cafes, Restaurants. Trotzdem nachts eine ruhige Gegend. Das Bett war wirklich gut - ich bin da zugegbenermaßen empfindlich. Klimaanlage/Heizung hat auch prima funktioniert, Fenster ließen sich öffnen. 24 Std besetzte Rezeption mit netten Mitarbeitern. Soweit alles prima. Was man wissen sollte: Zimmer und Bad sind wirklich winzig, ab 100 kg aufwärts passt man sicher nicht mehr in die Dusche. Das Bad sah bei uns aus wie auf den Fotos aus 2008, war sehr schlecht beleuchtet und wirklich abgewohnt, überall blätterte es. Den Umständen entsprechend war es sauber, aber barfuß habe ich mich trotzdem nicht wohlgefühlt. Fön war nur so ein Haartrockner, wie man sie aus den 80ern Jahren im Hallenbad kennt. Einen Stuhl hatten wir auch nur, nur einen kleinen Hocker, die Bügel in der Garderobe alle defekt - dicke Winterjacke hielten sie nicht aus. der Spiegel im Zimmer hat seine beste Zeit auch schon hinter sich. Unser Zimmer gehörte definitiv nicht zu den hübscherenn, wahrscheinlich renovierten Varianten. HIerfür war der Preis dann doch recht hoch - wenn man sich mal andere Unterkünfte anschaut. Die Zimmer sind dazu noch extrem hellhörig, das Paar dass neben uns um Mitternacht zurück kam und sich erst auf dem Gang stritt und dann nebenan versöhnt hat, war unüberhörbar. Man konnte eigentlich jedes Wort verstehen.... Alles in allem haben wir ja "nur" im Zimmer geschlafen, das war schon ok. Nur wie gesagt - die Bilder und unsere Realität weicht ziemlich voneinander ab.
