Lichnos Beach Hotel & Suites

The hotel is beautiful. Its modern and extremely clean! The staff are smart, well trained, courteous and efficient. Such a rarity these days! I loved the small touches, the toiletries/hair dryer/bathrobes/slippers and a lovely bottle prosecco with baklava to greet us. They even have a clothes dryer on the balcony for your wet swimwear. Much appreciated. Flat screen TV with ambient lighting to catch the morning news and great air-conditioning. Then of course there's the amazing view. Lichnos Bay is very pretty if not a little remote. The hotel sits high on a steep hill, hence the views. There is a golf buggy driven by staff available for the less able bodied or elderly guests as a shuttle up the hill from the beach/bars/restaurant. The beach loungers are allocated according to your room location and are plush with a pillow. Very comfortable. Towels are exchanged with your allocated tokens each day. The beach is shingle and I would advise taking/purchasing deck shoes as not only is it sharp but very hot! It's very difficult to walk the beach as you sink into the shingle and there are so many sunbeds. The water was lovely and cool. Great respite from the heat. If you are taking the children, you'd need to watch them closely at the waters edge as the drop-off is almost immediate. You are out of your depth at 4-5 feet in. There is a lovely taverna to the right of the hotel as you face the sea with a small supermarket behind. We ate there a couple times for a change of scenery. Because the bay is remote it can get pretty boring so we took taxi's into Parga at €9 for a meal and to brows the cute shops. There is a water taxi at 10am, 2pm, 4pm and 6pm. There is no entertainment at the hotel but they had a great children's club area and most people were in bed by 10pm! The pool was full of children so not relaxing and we were not able to swim early as it was being cleaned. No matter, the sea looks like a lake and is lovely and clear. If I were being picky, my grievances would be extra charges for drinks with meals Inc Coffee/water, bland samey food (no fish....this is Greece!) Paying for tea/coffee in the room, no entertainment ( how about a barbecue evening or at least a guitarist/similar) The hill and the aggressive neighbouring hotels. (Don't cross their ropes for goodness sake!) All in all, lovely hotel for a good rest but we felt it was just too quiet and remote for us.

Positives-Reception staff Cristos & Georgia fantastic . Prince Faisal suite where we stayed had a lovely large terrace. Negatives- position of the room for the price you pay is nothing special.( there is little detail advertised of where this room is within the complex of the hotel)It is facing the back of a noisy bar with a green area in front.(kids who have nothing else to do play football here .To the side of this is a children’s crèche with outside toys to play with.For the high price you pay for this suite you’d expect a quieter position with more privacy. …Your next door neighbour can poke their face round to look at you on your terrace too. We had a fault with the jacuzzi on our terrace where the water would not fill it up completely and also the level dropped once we went in it.This did not get fixed…. Two technicians had a go.Alexandra the customer liaison manager did not get back to me with a resolution . I requested money off the bill and she refused to believe there was any issue at all with the jacuzzi-she acknowledged there was initially - then completely changed her mind! Very bad customer care. Food was ok but not great -went B&b - at breakfast too many idle staff with a lack of motivation -standing around with no training and then rushing to take your empty plate as soon as you finished your last mouthful…. Not very conjucive to enjoying your food Had one evening meal a la carte -wasn’t impressed and went out to eat every night after this as it was cheaper elsewhere with a taxi ride included in the cost. You cannot easily walk to anywhere from this hotel with steep hills all around. You cannot stroll on the beach either as your feet sink into the shingle. There is no gym and no spa so you don’t get much exercise here unless you exercise on your terrace or swim.There are plenty of other hotels I would return to over this place… . Just too many things that don’t flow here with the majority of staff lacking basic pleasantries I’m afraid

Very nice hotel on the beach. Staff are very friendly & helpful. It’s fairly quiet as early in the season. Food is very good & there is plenty of choice. We are on HB, but you can swap your evening meal for lunch if you are eating out elsewhere, just let them know the day before. Rooms are very nice, large & modern. Taxi into Parga is €10, only a 10 minute ride. Water taxis are very spasmodic ( again as it’s early in the season), we are hoping to get one before we leave. I would definitely recommend the hotel & stay here again. Transfer from the airport was about an hour, airport experience is another matter, queued for an hour to show our passports.

We stayed in July 2023 and it was an absolutely amazing hotel. We loved the tranquility, the service and food. On the beach the staff really do go above and beyond. Housekeeping work hard and took care of us It is very hilly but don’t let this put you off as if need be there is a buggy that the staff will help with if need be. Loved the fact on the half board we were able to swap the evening meal for lunch in advance so we could enjoy Parga in the evening (very accommodating on this) Booked 2 executive rooms for a family of 4 and cannot fault the holiday. I have never gone back to the same place, but I can honestly say this is one of the best places I have ever stayed. We have booked to come back on the 21st July this year and can’t wait to return and keeping all crossed that the standard and service is still amazing. See you soon Lichnos Beach Hotel

We were a family group of 10 and we had 4 rooms of different sizes. We had the best time ever. The hotel was full but due to the size of the grounds we didn’t notice. It was a great place to relax. It was so easy to order food and drinks on the beach and The staff were very helpful. The food in the restaurants was really good and well priced. We have already booked for next year and this time there is 15 of us, grandparents, parents and children. Great for all age groups.

We enjoyed luxury, comfort, rest. The food was excellent! The room was very clean. The bed very comfort! The olive trees and the lemon trees make a very romantic scene. Our best holiday ever. The jacuzzi offered us an extra treatment.

We have just returned from a relaxing 10 night stay at this hotel at half board. The location and views were idyllic. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the rooms were cleaned daily. There was something for everyone in the buffet style breakfast and evening meal and you had the option to exchange your evening meal to lunch which is handy. The town of Parga is lovely and is 10 minutes away in a taxi which costs 9 euros which has an array of bars and shops. The only thing I would say is the first two rows of the sun beds on the beach at the hotel were allocated to the rooms at the front of the hotel and found a lot of our stay these were often unused. It seems quite a waste of the beautiful views and you are doing a disservice to the rest of the guests and think this should be reviewed.

I can't recommend Lichnos Beach Hotel and suites highly enough. The location of the hotel is set in a stunning part of the world with picturesque views all around. My wife and I stayed 7 nights this for the first time wasn't enough, as we enjoyed complete luxury from the start to the end of our holiday, both my wife and agreed that it was the best holiday we had been on. The room type we booked was the deluxe junior suite with whirlpool, room number 1203. The room was stunning with the sea views from the decking area simply breathtaking. With room having air conditioning, it meant when spending time in our room it was very comfortable as the outside temperature was very warm. The rooms were cleaned daily to a very high standard, meaning each time we returned to our room it was like walking into it for the first time. With our room type we were allocated a front row sun lounger which meant we were just over a metre from the sea. Each sun lounger had a service button where we could order refreshments which were added to our room extras bill, the same applied when we ordered drinks with our evening meal. There is a small supermarket within a five minute walk along the beach from the hotel where you can also buy refreshments if you choose, my wife and I occasionally used the supermarket, which had a good choice of products at very reasonable prices. We were half board on our stay and have to say the choice both for breakfast and evening meal was excellent, perfectly set out and the food prepared to a very high standard. Every single staff member at lichnos beach hotel and suites are a credit to the hotel. We we're greeted by very friendly, polite and professional staff at every turn. The staff at reception 10/10 always polite, friendly and professional and on one occasion going the extra mile in securing transport to parga for my wife and I to make a boat trip we had booked, after it seemed every taxi in parga was busy. The staff in the restaurant 10/10 always greeting us with a smile and a hello on entering the restaurant and smile and goodbye when leaving. Very friendly, polite and professional staff. The staff at the beach 10/10 again very polite, friendly and professional when went to our sun lounger, always greeting us with a smile and a hello, and a smile and goodbye when heading back to our room. Lastly but by no means least the room cleaner. Our room was meticulously cleaned each day to a very high standard. Our whole experience was very enjoyable and relaxing from the point we started our day till the end of our day. The fact we had an allocated sun lounger also added to the relaxation as if we chose to go into parga for a visit we both knew when we got back it was there waiting there for us, as with some holidays we have been on there are some that seem to get up at a mad hour to set there towels out. Qe had a great weekend there. The service was great and the room spacious and clean. The view from the balcony was 10/10. There is the possibility of booking HB however you can also order A la carte and food was very delicious. I definitely go back again
