OYO Hotel Totonacapan, Papantla

Mi estancia fue corta, ofrecen buen servicio pero la higiene de las sábanas, cama y toallas de dejo un poco inquieta.

The photos do not represent the rooms they offer. They must have on 'model' they use for photos and advertisments. The room was very dirty, no internet, no hot water, no toilet cover so it is a wide open hole that you cannot sit on without falling into the water. Dozens of street dogs in the street that fight each other all night long. Bright lights outside from the street but very thin curtains that do not block the light and actually do not fit the complete length of the window. I have traveled the world and have stayed in many bad places, but this was the worse hotel I have every stayed in. I do not recommend. My reveiw is being kind. After the first night I moved to a different hotel.

I would give this hotel negative 5 stars if ******* offered that rating. The rooms looked NOTHING like the photo. I looked at three rooms on at least two floors. The rooms were shabby, there was a hole in the bathroom ceiling, the light switch flickered on-and -off, paint was flaked off the stucco in the corridors. The hotel elevator did not work. The entire appearance of the hotel rooms and corridors was dingy, shabby, and depressing. I couldn’t stay at this hotel; I left within two hours. One good thing about the hotel: the receptionists, Seila and Angela, were very nice. Seila was very understanding about my desire to cancel my reservation; Angela obliging lugged my suitcase from room to room as I tried to find a decent room. The manager, Harmi, said that she wouldn’t charge me for the 3-night reservation, but at the time of writing this review, I don’t know if she will honor her word.

Old towels, curtains, bad water pressure, aircon outdated. Overall good service, workers were great but premises need deep upgrading.

I spent three nights at this hotel last September-2022-and it was a pleasant experience.The hotel is conveniently located close to the main plaza with a number of restaurants nearby.The room I was given was large and clean and was serviced daily....I want to pay tribute to the staff who were always friendly,polite and helpful...I am happy to recommend this place...Definitely worth a return visit.

Había reservado una habitación KING SIZE y al llegar al hotel me dijeron en recepción que esas habitaciones ya no estaban disponibles.

Nosotros reservamos para llegar a la madrugada y descansar. EStuvo bien de limpieza, y de instalaciones. Pero el ruido externo puede ser incomodo y recomendamos reparar el abánico, porque hace mucho ruído

La atención del personal fue buena, el clima funciona bien, la ubicación es muy buena ya que esta cerca de la plaza, el precio es muy económico. La habitación no estaba del todo limpia y había cucarachas, dice que tiene wifi, pero solo en recepción en las habitaciones no hay, en la televisión se ven pocos canales y solo de música.
