Ulasan Hotel Araxa - Adults Only

The hotel has a wonderful atmosphere and soul and history. The staff is very friendly and nice. But the beds are hard as rocks. I didn’t even know they made beds that hard. You can hear every sound through the walls, there was an engine outside my room that made a lot of noise and showering took forever cause there was no water pressure. Cannot be recommended if you want to sleep or shower.

Beautiful hotel, lovely and clean with very helpful staff. A bit of a walk to what I consider the main part of town but personally I enjoyed the stroll either along the water or through the streets. It also meant it was peaceful. They hire excellent bikes too.

The hotel looks nice and is in a good location, a bit off the main road and not far from the city centre. The downside is that the walls are extremely thin! You can hear your next door neighbours all the time and the staff is not pleasant, at all! which is a shame because the overall experience was stained by it.

Great hotel that is located in a quiet area. Delicious breakfast incl. freshly squeezed orange juice. Spacious bathtub.

This hotel is mixed. The public spaces are lovely and rooms clean. Pool are is SUPER busy and people reserve sunbeds and place from 7am So don’t hope of relaxing unless you are an early bird Walking to town - aprox 25 mins. Food at bar good!

Muy buen servicio y muy contentos

El servicio en general es estupendo, muy buena la atención. La limpieza y la habitación, excelente! Hemos pasado unos días geniales.

Hotel situado en una zona tranquila de Pslma, es necesario contar con transporte para ir a zonas de ocio. Esta frecuentado por turistas ingleses . Aunque es pequeño cuenta con instalaciones como spa, gimnasio piscina y restauración. Todo el personal es agradable y te ayuda en tu estancia.

Todo muy bien. Hotel sencillo y limpio. Nosotros hemos ido en pareja y la verdad que muy bien. Muy buena zona de Mallorca para poder aparcar el coche sin problema.

The hotel its fine. There is an air conditioning but you must find out how its work. Second nobody told me that there are more blankets inside the cabinet. So I was really cold due the night. I'm honest I should check my self. The hotel have a nice cafe and breakfast with a very nice young staff Very helpful with a smile. There is a swimming pool but not for November. Bus stop to the city is 5 m walk. No shops or Supermarket close by. The nearest Supermarket is more than 10m walk.

Just come back from staying at the Araxa Hotel. Lovely location and room. We made the booking as part of a holiday package and made the mistake of booking half board without checking out the menu. The half board food is the set menu with very limited choice of dishes and not good value for money. They also have a main menu which is pay as you go. On the first night of our stay we said we would give the set menu a try. What came down as a starter was not the description on the menu. Tuna is not a vegetable. When we complained to the waiter no apology was forthcoming and we were directed to reception. We were first in the restaurant that night but were not made to feel welcome. Two other couples came in after us and were served before us. I said I was not happy but again told to go to reception with the complaint. What was on the set menu includes a drink but not if booked as part of a holiday package deal. This was not made clear to us when ordering our food or at reception when we first checked in. We did not use the half board for the rest of the week the menus were not inviting. Don't want to come across sexiest but the female very staff friendly but the male staff in the bar looked miserable.

This is a lovely hotel in the western suburbs of Palma. We stayed one night on a recent trip to the island and found the staff very helpful and the hotel very clean. Breakfast is basic,but as you would expect, whilst dinner was delicious and great value for money. The decor is classic 'Spanish' which was to our liking and we had a room overlooking the pool which was spacious and clean. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would go again.

Beautiful hotel with lots of original 1950’s features. Tastefully designed. Beautiful and peaceful setting, Very clean, daily maid service Pool area is perfect for chilling Some of the best cocktails I had had in a while Excellent value for money

We stayed in this hotel for a week during May 2024 It was not an enjoyable experience. I will start at the beginning. Day 1 no roll or olives offered with evening meal despite being included in board/dining arrangements. The waiter also failed to bring" included drinks" we had ordered to be brought to the table He seemed too busy dealing with other customers. A member of staff appeared in the restaurant and was then asked to bring us our drinks. Later that evening she demanded payment for those drinks. She refused to accept that she had actually served us with drinks ( 3 beers and an orange juice) that were " included drinks" in our board/dining arrangements. Her attitude was appalling. We were told if we did not pay the bill it would put it on our account/hotel bill. We were extremely upset by all these actions and staff behaviour. Next day we spoke to a member of staff called "Director". She refused to accept what had happened saying she had discussed it with her staff. She made worse a very unpleasant situation caused by her staff. She then asked if we wanted the drinks removed from our bill and were told we could not charge anything to our room. By this time the potential for pleasant stay at the hotel had been completely soured. Generally we were disappointed with the evening meals that ranged from acceptable to dry to overcooked and just luke warm. There was also a tendency to forget to provide the bread and olives included with the evening meal. There were insufficient sunbeds for guests. We thought the bedrooms were a good size and the overall look of the hotel was quite nice. We felt the hotel was extremely badly managed with little or no thought given to customer care which left us feeling we were not really hotel guests. We have travelled to numerous destinations all around the world over the last 40 years in a very wide range of hotels and I can not recall ever having cause to give a poor review like this until now.
