A small balcony facing the street offers space for smoking. It's a quiet side street. 300 meters from the nightlife. Highly recommended. Very good value for money."

The rooms and interiors were quite old and could need some refurbishing.  The pool area was ok, if you get a chair (need to go early in the morning - when breakfast ends).  The breakfast was mediocre and mostly filled with sweets. "We stayed at this B&B from February 13th to 15th and couldn't have asked for a better stay for our Palermo weekend. The property is located on Corso Calatafimi, on the second floor with an elevator. The area is very quiet yet lively and full of shops, making it a pleasant place to stroll. A huge plus is the parking: we almost always found a spot along the street below the B&B easily, and, not surprisingly, there's no charge! As soon as we stepped inside, a wonderful, clean smell hit us: the hygiene is truly impeccable. Here's what we appreciated most: • The room: we had a triple room with an en suite bathroom, which was super clean. The bed isn't huge, but we managed to sleep comfortably for two adults and a 3-year-old. • Refreshment area: right outside the room, in the hallway, there's a coffee machine always available and a microwave, essential for us for heating up our baby's milk. • Extra: The coin-operated washing machine is extremely useful, ideal for those staying longer or having baby emergencies. The value for money is excellent. Special thanks to Martina for her extreme kindness; she made us feel truly welcome. It's definitely an experience worth repeating, and we'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!"

"The hotel's public areas have a palatial feel, a great location, good breakfast, and the front desk staff were friendly, but I still gave it a bad review. (Friendly reminder: Don't stay on the first floor, especially room 120.) I was assigned room 120 at check-in, and the room wasn't great. But I figured the price was fair, so I went out for a walk. When I returned, the room was very noisy, with constant trailer noises. I opened the curtains to look out and found the windowsill disgustingly dirty. There were also occasional dog barks, so I took pictures and sent them to Ctrip customer service and the hotel front desk to request a room change. They told me the hotel was fully booked and they couldn't change it, and they'd have to deal with it the next day depending on the hotel's situation. Not wanting to go through all that trouble, I just made do. Around 7 am, the trailer noise started again in the hallway, it was unbearable. I opened the door and saw a freight elevator next to the room, which was used for all items going up and down. The breakfast restaurant was on the second floor, and I realized the kitchen was above the room (meaning they were also moving things around in the kitchen, making the room very noisy). I was speechless. Ctrip customer service was very helpful and followed up, eventually changing me to a room on the second floor, which was much better. But the entire morning's schedule was disrupted, and my mood was greatly dampened."
