Well located, close to touristic area. Small room, tiny bathroom;( better be slim;) Very difficult to park.

Hôtel très bien situé La chambre est plus que simple mais vu qu'on y va que pour dormir cela me va très bien

L'hotel Columbia è classificato 2 stelle, ma ne merita 3 per posizione centrale e strategica per visitare Palermo, servizi eccellenti e personale super gentile. La camera doppia è ampia e dotata di bagno privato con set di cortesia, con bella visuale dalla finestra. Manca l'ascensore, ma per noi non è stato un problema. La colazione è completa di dolce e salato e usufruibile fino alle 10. Intorno all'hotel si trovano molti localini per mangiare a buon prezzo. In definitiva, un ottimo hotel. Ci tornerei.

酒店地理位置良好，一分鐘就能走出大街，有很多商鋪及餐廳，部份設施古舊，需要用鎖匙開關才能亮燈，門鎖亦和正常酒店不一樣。隔音很差，外面走廊一舉一動聽得清清楚楚。房間亮度也不是很夠。餐廳早餐質素不錯，服務員態度良好。

I know it’s an old building but the walls were paper thin. Thankfully, I had a twin bed room so I could switch as the neighbour’s bathroom was right at my head level‼️ Also, at breakfast-an employee was almost guarding the food. Not very friendly at all or welcoming. Unfortunately, I had an early flight the next day and had to miss breakfast.

Terrible. I had a single room, floor 1. It had a ramp and catered for disability. (I don't have one). Bed was ok and comfortable. I had a shower, did not have the pressure high. A wooden grate in the shower base. The lip on the shower was tiny. The floor tilted down to the bedroom, not to the shower. Flooded the bedroom. I contacted reception and housekeeping came up. Said l had to much water pressure. My fault apparently. After closer inspection the noticed the wardrobe foot was rotted out from the exact same problem.. I changed room to the 2nd floor which the room had a normal bathroom. Walls thin, heard toilet noises, flushing and shower from next door. Breakfast was just ok. Some staff were friendly Friends room, bathroom had black mould all over the roof Location is good, but certainly not quiet at night. Walking distance to most sights

This is a good hotel that with a few tweaks could be a great hotel. This hotel is classified as two stars, so it's important to view it in that light. That said, the location is five star, and so are the staff. Everyone here was friendly and helpful. Our room was fine, but we could never get anything to work on the television. I really would have liked a fridge in my room, as I felt like a pain asking the front desk to store my wine for me. Breakfast isn't expansive and is on the sweet side, but is more than enough to get you started on your day. Please...fix the front door so it doesn't make that grinding sound every time it's opened! All in all, you will not find a better deal in a better spot.

It was perfectly fine for a budget hotel. The staff was nice and helpful. Just wish there was more hangers in my closet

Air conditioner did not work. Refridgerator dirty and did not work. No elevator. Staff not helpful. Breakfast very limited. To sum it up. I would recommend to anyone ever! Would not offer refund. Still working on that.

Stayed here for 7-nights with my mum. The hotel is centrally based with easy access to everything. Walking distance to the cathedral and to the harbour where we found a lovely beach bar. So many restaurants within east walking distance serving Sicilian delights. All of the staff are amazing - very helpful, courteous and lovely. Giuseppe was particularly wonderful and extremely helpful. The rooms are basic, but you aren’t paying the price of a 5-star hotel - the beds are comfortable and the rooms are cleaned and replenished everyday. Everything you need for a base and a good nights sleep. The continental breakfast has a great choice and is very filling. The young waitress is attentive and polite. Perfect base for exploring the wonderful city of Palermo.

Excellent location, just off Via Maqueda. Everything is walkable in Palermo. Lots of great bars and restaurants nearby. Our room was basic but clean - aircon good but a bit noisy. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very basic - meat, cheese, tomato and lots of sweet pastries. Ask for a cappuccino- its much better than the jug thats on the buffet table. We think for the price we paid, the hotel was great- would definitely stsy here again.

8 day stay at this hotel, which is a very nice building in a very quiet lane just off the main tourist area, very close to pretty much everything. Accept the fact this is not a 5 star hotel but a budget alternative and everything is good. Small but adequate rooms are clean and tidy with excellent maid service each day, sheets and towels changed regular. Breakfast was more than enough to get you going each day. Coffee, cakes, bread with toaster, croissants, meat tomato's, etc. you can ask for special coffees and gluten free food is available from the staff. We had an issue with the shower doors coming off the rails (hitting my wife in the head once), told staff on reception 3 times but nothing was done, so gave up asking and put towels on the floor to catch the water. obviously been in this condition a while and will be for a while longer. apart from that all was good

The hotel is in a good location, close to the main tourist area of the city. I stayed for one night. My room was spotless, no issues at all, but I think the A/C was faulty. I found it extremely annoying that the TV was placed almost to the ceiling, which made it very uncomfortable. Breakfast was a complete disappointment, instant coffee and some croissants with ham & cheese, some raw tomatoes. No eggs at all. Overall my experience there was ok, but I personally wouldn’t stay there again.
