"It was difficult to find guest house (it is not in Google maps and even in Trip.com maps it was unclear there is reception and there is apartment. But the connection by phone was easy and we received a support - key and explanation very fast after arriving to the accommodation site. We appreciate our thanks for the real help with forgotten baggage delivery to the our next stop. It was done in spite of weekend days very correctly and friendly. Thank you again! The location is out of road in wild area nearby lake with plenty of birds and plants. It was impressive sunset and sunrise. In house we found all that we was needed for cooking, comfortable living"

The visit was amazing with Ben as a guide as we had the opportunity to visit the Heritage Farm after its closing, enjoying Ben’s very knowledgeable explanations in absolute peace. The light is amazing there in the evening and it was a visit we’ll remember for ever - our kids talk about it non stop. We 200% recommend!"

If you’re looking for peace of mind and a relaxing stay away from home, I strongly recommend avoiding this place. The owners are unwilling to accommodate guests or make any effort to ensure comfort. It’s very much a “their way or the highway” approach, which made the entire experience frustrating and unwelcoming."

"This was the worst experience ever in a Guest House in Oudtshoorn, Certainly not a four star, Experience! We were all totally misled. I come from Hotel Industry, and I do beleive they have run out of financials to keep the standard up. I was told the place is up for sale. My stay Monday to Friday, including breakfast, which was not nearby advertised, and still cancelled when we arrived on one of the mornings, moved 3 times to rooms, I was informed was an upgrade. No TV, no DSTV due to not paying there bills, No Wifi, Aircons not functioning, during this Winter stay, rooms were freezing cold. Seriously need upgrade! Other Guests informed me that they had much worse experience, from Staff, especially the Manager in the main house. She is so rude, She needs more hospitality training, Nothing what one comes to expect from the Industry. Unfortunely I could not run, as they refused to give me my money back."

"What a lovely, unexpected little haven with a beautiful stained glass front door and wide wooden wrap around deck. Gorgeous house with wooden floors throughout, the rooms were huge with lovely en suite bathrooms. English breakfast with fresh fruits, cereals, toast, tea, and coffee. Helpful, quiet, and unobtrusive staff. Lovely pool with comfy loungers on the grass, great for star gazing and searching for satellites. Close enough to town to go in every day or go out for dinner. Dinner available at the guest house on pre-order, which was very good. Karoo lamb or ostrich on the nights we were there. "
