5 km past Alife, but only 100 meters from Via Francigena. The rooms are a bit worn out, but the food in the evening is very tasty! We are alone and we are well served... Very sympathetic service. Breakfast the Italian way: sweets. We get - as a gift - a piece of bread, a sausage and dry biscuits. The bread in particular weighs heavily, but is tasty. We pay 54,50€ for a delicious dinner, and 80€ for a 2p-room with breakfast.

The place to go if you want complete relaxation and peace and quiet. After 6 nights at this hotel, we have come away well rested and well looked after. The rooms are stunning and cleanliness 2nd to none as others have reported. Whilst their rules appear strict, this family run place runs a tight ship and obviously wishes to keep it as pristine as it is so we didnt mind abiding to the 'regulations' that other have complained about. The breakfast offering is a little quirky. You won't find a hot option or a plain croissant, but you are offered sweet and savoury delights and once we embraced the Puglian way, we very much enjoyed our mornings. We didn't have a car, so we walked into town every night, which is a good 25-minute walk, but we did find taxis hard to come by, so having a car would have been a benifit I'm sure. Sitting around the pool we were looked after by the fantastic Francesco and team. Nothing was too much bother for him. We were only sad not to see him as we checked out. Thank you for being a great bar man! Overall, we'd recommend this place to anyone wanting a peaceful and uninterrupted get away from any hustle and bustle.

We stayed in early September, received a great welcome from Geramana the manager. Close to Otranto, and you can readily drive across to Gallipoli and down to Santa Maria Di Leuca. We had one of the two level rooms which was very roomy, with the bedding was changed very day and my wife loved the mattress! Breakfast was very good two tables laid out with food to help yourself, loved the melon and the breads. When having a day in by the pool the staff were attentive making sure you had plenty of towels and ready to provide drinks or snacks. We ate in two nights, meals were one choice for each of the 3 courses, but each one was tasty. We loved Otranto, so if we ever plan to come back it will to be here.

Lovely quiet place, just outside of the city. We had the best breakfast that we’ve ever had in Italy. Fabulous choice and very fresh. Dinner and wine was very good, although limited to a fish menu. Thought it was good value for money.

A dream come true stay from start to finish in this beautifully renovated Masseria a few minutes drive from Otranto. Impeccably clean room & grounds, with 2 stunning pools and a restaurant. Breakfast buffet offered a large table each of sweet & savoury, and served in the internal glassed dining room with sea view. The quality of food in the restaurant was also so good that we dined in 2 out of 3 evenings…the atmosphere elegant yet relaxed with beautifully dressed tables in soft green & blue linen. Germana runs a tight ship and overseas every from morning til night, ensuring that all guests needs are catered to. The rooms are spacious with our Classic Double on 2 levels. The beds & pillows our most comfortable yet with high quality white linen. There is outdoor seating & gazebo’s with floaty white curtains dotted around offering different areas of relaxation, many with glimpses of the sea. This was a very beautiful stay and we well recommend it to anyone in search of a relaxing stay in a truly stunning environment. Thank you to the team (family and non), we appreciate your attention to detail and hope to be back in the next year or so.

The whole aesthetic of the Masseria is very beautiful and calming. The property has been renovated to a very high standard by the family. We stayed in one of the suites which was gorgeous, the property is maintained meticulously, nothing is out of place! There are a number of rules that are communicated to guests when they arrive, which I understand, however we always as guests are respectful when staying in any accommodation. I must admit every morning to putting all my 'stuff' into the bottom of the wardrobe so it was all tidied away! The breakfast was amazing, such a wonderful selection of savoury and sweet breads, pastries and cakes. We would recommend this to anyone to stay, you do really need to have a car, which wasn't a problem for us as we were staying in a few different places in Puglia.

Spent a couple of days here in August after touring around Puglia and staying in some lovely hotels(Masseria Cervarolo and La Fiermontina). Unfortunately, other than location and being spotlessly clean there were some serious letdowns. Hard beds, awful pillows, tiny soap cakes, no vanity kits unappetising breakfast and staff not interested with the exception of Francisco. Honestly couldn’t recommend.

Everything about this place is magical. The light bouncing off the golden stone, the sea sparkling in the distance, the turquoise water of the pool, the fabulous food and delightful hosts. We stayed in the duplex suite with its own little plunge pool. Everything was gorgeously appointed and the room had everything we needed. Poolside service was excellent value and the on site restaurant (set dinner menu) was very good. The breakfast was exquisite and probably deserves its own review! Heaven.

We stayed here for 12 nights and had a fabulous stay at Monaci. family run Masseria that goes the extra mile, cleanliness, owners eye for detail, and the hospitality welcome all first rate. the most beautiful and restful place we have ever stayed ( we stayed in the Suites ). Great location to Otranto, we walked and got the buses from town to Lecce etc. Perfect area if you have a car & are touring. The family and staff were amazing and the booking of our holiday was made easy because of Monaci’s professionalism when it comes to communications. 10/10
